If Harry and meghan stayed...alternative ending

How do you envisage them to be like if they stayed in the UK?

I remember Meghan's puff piece editing Vogue. It was cringe Edward Enninful fawning all over someone who a few months before was an aspiring actress who noone had really heard of..

Also the bump rubbing at the fashion awards - weird

I think they would be competent and generally popular working Royals. There would be the tabloid ups and downs, but the public would be very enthusiastic to see them during visits. They would have started to carve out a Commonwealth role, and would have taken on all the senior military charities in the reshuffle following ER II's death. Harry would probably have taken on Andrew's honorary military appointments.

The Duchess would have continued voiceover acting work on carefully selected projects and would have had taken on major charitable roles in the arts world (from the Queen) and therefore be persona grata at all the red carpet events

They should have rode it out. Leaving has arguably been much more destructive and stressful. They do seem both very genuine,and they could have contributed a lifetime of charity work.

They would've been a great addition. Cooler and edgier then W&K. I'm sorry they left. I think the RF is poorer without them. The whole thing is such a shame.

To add, a few photos of them together for the big occasions, Charlotte holding Archives hand as they come walk around the polo, Louis pulling faces at Lili etc would have been enough to keep the papers quiet on their relationships. They didn't need to be the Fab Four, they just needed to be a Unit under Charles.

Archie and Lili as teens / adults wouldn't be that different to Charlotte and Louis, and there would have been the same interest in them.

The Duchesses are different enough that if they'd have come together they could have done some really good work on female empowerment.

It's geographical , moving countries doesn't change who someone is .

I agree with DerangedViper - I know the teachers at DC school were really disappointed not to see them when nearby event they were due at coincided with school trip.

Obviously they'd still be the same people -perhaps a tad less bitter- but behind the palace PR and if they could learn to work with their staff and rest of family - I think they could have carved out a decent RF career out for themselves.

I find ‘despising’ someone you don’t know (who hasn’t carried out some horrific crime) to very strange.

I also think the photos of her posted above are lovely. Maybe the baby was kicking hard, moving, she felt uncomfortable. Maybe she was proud to be pregnant and felt happy.

She's probably got paparazzi yelling at her for a shot. If she touches it she's attention seeking and fake. If she never had she'd be cold and bitter. If she did a bit she'd probsy just be copying Kate cos she's so pathetic.

Starting a thread to bash a person you know Inc how she chooses to touch her own body doesn't make you better than those who do it to a stranger. You act like it would be fine if you knew her. It isn't. You're nasty regardless.

@SleepingStandingUp nah. Really different standing up on a stage at an awards ceremony cradling your bump in such a way. There were no paps shouting - think the oscars; only tables of people clapping . It was all very strange.

I have to admit I don't get the bump touching - how I carried differed - first pg no bump till very late - next large dump almost immediately - how baby laid - how they kicked and how often - so how and why I touched differed.
