It's directed to millionaires who have the staff, financial means & experts available at the click of their fingers to do it for them . If Harry wanted a less embarrassing home he could have hired an interior designer or bought a bigger pad for himself.... Always the fucking victim.

But many people have pointed out to you that is exactly what he said that he was embarrassed he hadn't thought to have furnished it well before meghan saw it and that it resembled like a first house when she saw it.

Anyway you will refuse to see that difference and will continue to gripe about something he didn't say.

Kateforqueen · 13/01/2023 07:32

@Spectre8 if you read the article Meghan also birches on Netflix that it was so small... Bet the thousands of homelss here would be thrilled with it.

I was about to say similar. There are plenty of people who could only dram I'd living in a house like that .

@ImBlueDab Eugenie & her family have no problem with Nottingham Cottege & she's a real Princess...
How condescending & snide of Meghan to comment on how small it was. No wonder the mood in the UK turned against her so quickly. Families are losing their homes, sheltering in community centres, going to food banks & freezing in their homes due to the energy crisis..
And Meghan complains about how small the house the great unwashed of the UK are funding for her & her equally ungrateful husband are shacked up in.

Can anyone explain the floor plan to me please? When I try and expand the pic I can only make out the bedrooms (I e only got 2 upstairs myself boo boo me) - but what’s going on downstairs?

This is so financially independent @YellowAndGreenToBeSeen 🤣 expecting his security to still be paid for. Once a freeloader always a freeloader...

I really wouldn’t bother arguing with the OP.

OP doesn’t bother taking on points that PH was embarrassed about his furnishings in the book - and not size of property - whatever was said by his wife on TV.

OP can’t even provide links to articles from respectable news websites that support their argument.

The link shows PH wants to PAY himself for his security.

“Prince Harry wants a review of the decision to not allow him to pay for police protection for himself and his family while visiting from the US.”

😝

The comments about NottCott sounded sneery and insensitive. Total lack of class to comment on it publicly, it makes them sound spoilt and crass.

DogBowlsAreMyWeapon · 13/01/2023 08:03

The British constabulary are not “available for hire”.

And Nott Cott perfectly fine for Princess Eugenie, hubby & Baby August..

So true.

Please can I ask exactly what PH said about the place in his book Spare?

Many young single men (yes, am stereotyping here) don’t take a lot of notice of their surroundings, so it may well not have occurred to him that he could easily have tarted it up - he had enough people around him who could have sorted out an interior designer to do it all, and he had the money. He was no doubt just as embarrassed that he’d never thought of doing so. Am sure he wasn’t instructed that he was never allowed to alter anything.

no idea why ikea sofas etc had to be bought on Megan’s credit card - thought she wasn’t short of a bob or two.

Still, it’s his truth…

DogBowlsAreMyWeapon · 13/01/2023 08:22

I dunno… the idea of those two bundling a couple of ektorps into a hire van and navigating the north circular before trying to fit them in through the tiny doors of a stunted, shambolic, low-ceilinged, medieval cottage gives me a warm glow.

Well Meghan complained about how small it was... He seemed to have no problem bringing aristocratic Cressida or wealthy solicitor Chelsy there...

I think Harry believed Meghan's truth that she was Hollywood royalty, a true A lister & Nott Cott wouldn't hold a candle to all her glitzy homes🤔

TizerorFizz · 13/01/2023 08:33

“Meghan’s truth” - please noooo! Meghan’s bullshit you mean.

She bought the sofa from sofa.com. How pleasant to be able to refurbish a Royal cottage. I would love that. Obviously she should have had Lulu Lyttle on speed dial like Boris and Carie but she learned pretty fast. She’s just a mega diva unfortunately.

TizerorFizz · 13/01/2023 08:34

Maybe Meghan wanted what she wanted and the sofa was the one for her!

Msstakes · 13/01/2023 08:39

OP I'm a bit worried about you and others like you who seem to be addicted to putting down someone they've never met.
To counter it why don't you do an equivalent of dry Jan? Instead of avoiding alcohol you avoid gossip, hate filled comments and negativity. Try instead a couple of random acts of kindness, smiling at a stranger and writing 5 nice things about 10 people you know.
You never know you might feel happier, healthier and have more friends?

LadyKenya · 13/01/2023 08:40

Still ranting on OP? Oh dear.

tappinginto2023 · 13/01/2023 09:00

@Kateforqueen your obsession is actually really nasty and bullying. Are you ok? There seems to me no reason a sane person would post hundreds of horrible threads about H&M.
Are you Piers Morgan?

Endlesscleaning · 13/01/2023 09:16

jays · 13/01/2023 01:23

He didn’t complain about it.

Harry did complain about Nottingham Cottage.

He agreed with what Meghan was saying about it being “so small”, complaining Nottingham Cottage had low ceilings and was on a lean.

LadyKenya · 13/01/2023 09:26

Even if Harry, Meghan, the maid etc complained, so what! How does it affect someone to such a degree that they take to the net, to make continuous nasty comments day after day, about someone they will never even know? Madness. Something is wrong.

Thanks for the chuckle 🤭

DogBowlsAreMyWeapon · 13/01/2023 09:36

How is it hate and bullying? It’s a philosophical debate centring the concepts of truth, vulgarity and entitlement.

TrashyPanda · 13/01/2023 09:39

YellowAndGreenToBeSeen · 12/01/2023 15:49

Home not furnished to his taste, hadn’t been decorated in years, smaller than he thought others would expect, needs a new kitchen, a bit of a tip - all things people get embarrassed about when it comes to their home.

You are desperate to find fault in all he does.

Here’s the thing OP, some of us can see Harry’s point of view, can see that he is damaged and emotionally stunted. Some of us can see that there are shades of grey in all family relationships and it’s not:

Harry and Meghan = Bad
William and Kate = Good.

Nothing stopping him tidying up, buying new furniture, putting in new kitchen.

it’s not like he is short of cash.

sounds like he is just a lazy slob, who expects things to appear magically.

NashvilleQueen · 13/01/2023 09:45

It does look fairly drab decor but that's probably down to him expecting others to accommodate him to a better standard of living.
