@Choconut had he been working in Tesco boasting about his frozen todger, killing 25 Taliban & having stallion like sex in a field she definitely wouldn't have married him... Remember her all important requirement...
"But is he nice" ? 🤣🤣

‘Whataboutery’ at its finest OP.

You do know the rest of the royal family, including W&K, are laughing up their sleeves at people like you, don’t you? They’re getting away with having millions spent on them whilst you ridicule H&M (financially independent).

They would find your sycophancy unbecoming.

This. No doubt the OP will be employing their mental gymnastics to overlook this fact though.

Kateforqueen · 12/01/2023 19:14

@LadyKenya financially independent, so why is he kicking, screaming & taking legal action for the UK taxpayers to pay for his & his families security 🤣🤣 doesn't sound very independent to me..
And then announcing he's killed 25 Taliban (if my mental gymnastics is counting correctly 😉)

Because they didn't make the stupid comment of being embarrassed of their home. They're not that tone deaf

They still had others paying for it though. But that is okay, It is Will, and kate after all.Hmm

This is so financially independent @YellowAndGreenToBeSeen 🤣 expecting his security to still be paid for. Once a freeloader always a freeloader...

OP posts:
LadyKenya · 12/01/2023 19:19

Like the rest of the RF.

Kateforqueen · 12/01/2023 19:25

Exactly @ladykenya you've proven my point. But Harry is no longer part of the royal family, he left. So he is no longer entitled to the privileges which include security but he has taken a court case believing he's entitled.
Obviously he's not. But you are arguing he is financially independent... If he's so financially independent why is he trying to get the British Taxpayer to pay for his security, which will be astronomical now that he's made himself & his family Taliban targets..

OP posts:
LadyKenya · 12/01/2023 19:44

OP you must be confusing me with another poster. I have made no comment on Harry being financially independent, or otherwise. You are talking about his security arrangements, and who finances it. Again I have never made a post about that either. He is still royal, that does not change because he is not a working royal, and was a serving member when he was living in whatever house he was embarrassed by. That is what I was talking about.

Anon778833 · 12/01/2023 20:12

I agree with the sentiment.

But that sentiment applies to everyone in the royal family.

So just stop acting like it's only Harry who's a spoilt, rich white guy. Charles is probably 1000 times worse. He throws a hissy fit if his bath isn't the right tepid.

DownNative · 12/01/2023 20:48

Kateforqueen · 12/01/2023 18:59

@DownNative it looks idyllic to me. Quaint, small, cosy surrounded by beautiful gardens & the all important privacy he is so so desperate to get...

At nearly 2,000 Square Feet, Nottingham Cottage is not small. It's approximately 1,000 square feet bigger than the average UK home.

And the average UK home is 20% smaller than in the 1970s.

The rest of the Royal Family have not been complaining about the size of their childhood bedroom or the size of the property they were living in.

Harry has been complaining about both. The average person on the street does NOT like those with money and privilege complaining about these things. It IS a ridiculous thing for the overprivileged rich boy born with a silver spoon in his mouth to complain about.

steff13 · 12/01/2023 21:13

My house is about 2000 sq feet, and it's more than enough house for 2 people.

The issue here is that William, Kate, and eventually George lived in the same home, didn't they? Then they were moved to a nicer place, which was also the plan for Harry and Meghan. So he's complaining about not being treated equally, but he was being treated equally, and he has issues with that, too, apparently.

babsanderson · 12/01/2023 23:20

Floor area 1,324 square feet

babsanderson · 12/01/2023 23:21

@steff13 William and Kate did not live there, they were living in Anglesey. They only used Nottingham Cottage when visiting the area.

Kateforqueen · 12/01/2023 23:22

The imbicile should be greatful he had a free roof over his head & leccy & heating. More than most & he's embarrassed of it..

Is that what you say to people who get free housing and moan about that its not big enough or nice enough?

Or to people who rent and moan they cant afford a better place

It's directed to millionaires who have the staff, financial means & experts available at the click of their fingers to do it for them . If Harry wanted a less embarrassing home he could have hired an interior designer or bought a bigger pad for himself.... Always the fucking victim.

In 2016 Harry was 32 and had inherited millions from his dm.
If he was embarrassed why didn't he buy a nice house with his own money, like normal people.

This

TizerorFizz · 13/01/2023 00:12

He was fine at Nott Cott until Meghan appeared. It’s clear she thought it wasn’t grand enough. I bet previous girlfriends didn’t care . This is written because Megan wanted to be top princess. What he was going to get was fine too. He’s a totally spoilt brat.

jays · 13/01/2023 00:25

anyone who bothered to read it would know that what he actually said was that he was embarrassed by the fact that he hadn’t furnished it well, that it looked like a frat house and he’d basically used it as a storage cupboard as he was away so often. He was embarrassed by the fact that it looked like such a single man pad and he realised he’d neglected it when he brought Meghan back. But, don’t read it or anything. Much more fun to take the Daily Mail’s spin as gospel. The truth is just so bloody inconvenient, really gets in the way of the faux outrage and bile spewing doesn’t it.

I'm sure Chelsy or Cressida had no problem at Nott Cott. As Harry said in the article Chelsy didn't have "throne syndrome"

In the Netflix series Meghan and Harry complained about Nottingham Cottage being “so small”. So it wasn’t just an issue with the furniture.

@jays there you go & Meghan says it.... Funny that our real Princess Eugenie, her hubby & child have no problem with the size. They have been living their since the summer. And if they have they have the good sense & class not to air their dirty laundry in public..

Tone deaf comment given the current climate in the UK. Cost of living crisis & housing crisis & he's embarrassed of his lovely cottege...

I was about to say similar. There are plenty of people who could only dram I'd living in a house like that .
