Agree he seems like a conspiracy theorist. Also a permanent victim, no responsibility for choosing to take drugs. No responsibility for relationships with his family.

SequinsandStilettos · 08/01/2023 22:25

Her manager got a % of her own autobiography mirroring what Harry said so he is hypocrite out for a soundbite.

Roundlampshade · 08/01/2023 22:25

Has he had a bash at Mumsnet yet?

Is it me or is Tom Bradby getting a bit irritated with H?

I think Tom Bradby is thinking WTF a lot. He's giving H a harder time than I expected but to me H is still coming across as a completely paranoid thick idiot because he seems to genuinely believe that his family will forgive him for this.

I think he’s getting frustrated, because Harry keeps speaking over him and shushing him with his hand gestures.
Harrys coming across like he’s trying very hard to keep composed but these flashes of irritation and anger are coming through.

"I have a particular set of values from the Army" 😂 Please don't say your values come from the army!

Values???

Loyalty to family? - nope
Service to county - nope
Not selling your sole to the media for money - nope
Respecting the military code of not adding up your kills - nope

I'm confused!! - what are Harry's values?

The body language is interesting. Constant sniffing nose touching is a sign of high anxiety or aggression. He is very uncomfortable

Yes . I think he’s quite hostile to TB when challenged. Very defensive .

WeWereInParis · 08/01/2023 22:26

I don't understand why he says that anytime a story says "palace sources" it is coming from the palace, but they're covering their tracks by being an "unnamed source."

I can totally believe this happens, I'm not disputing that. But it can't be the case for every story that gets attributed to palace sources, because that would mean there are no members of staff who ever give a journalist a story that then gets attributed to "a source". And that doesn't sound very likely.

awaynboilyurheid · 08/01/2023 22:26

He doesn’t like Tom not doing an Oprah and fawning over his truth

Bugeyedowl · 08/01/2023 22:26

Camilla's not coming across well in this at all.

Jennybeans401 · 08/01/2023 22:26

My ex friends who are conspiracy theorists sound like Harry. They went a bit barmy following lockdown and I sometimes wonder whether things would gave been different if it wasn't for Covid.

ItsACrater · 08/01/2023 22:26

Didn’t even know about it and watched call the midwife and happy valley! Sunday’s are so much brighter cos of them lol

I reckon the Behaviour Panel will analyse this .

Cannot wait for this, although they might cover the US interviews rather than this one. There's only so much anyone can listen to the same blathering over different networks. One of them was a US military interrogator - they could employ Harry the blatherer to torture prisoners with his incessant complaining about absolutely nothing of any substance.

I will try and serve my country from abroad

What?????? By completely destroying the royal family, dissing the UK and putting the press at every second while making yourself front page news every day.

We DON'T WANT YOU to serve us.

We want you to fuck off and relinquish your titles

Why not take their titles away?

Oh Andrew.

Princessglittery · 08/01/2023 22:26

I have a lot of sympathy with what he is saying about the media. They do destroy lives and are racist and misogynistic.

@Hearmeout

Sorry let me clarify what I meant.

When I have seen Kate on TV and doing speeches,or through the zoom stuff etc she doesn't appear to me to be easy in public.
That is not a criticism, she didn't choose a public life per se.

Megan is a professional in media and talking and she has that American easiness about her.

What either of them are like in person I have no idea, Kate maybe amazingly warm and Megan the biggest prima Donna, maybe both are great. But for me, the person who translates extremely well through speeches etc and indeed who appears to be professional and extremely bright is Megan.

I've met Catherine, she's better in person, she's really warm, funny and easy to talk to.

I get what you are saying she can come over as stiff or unsure on public speaking events.

But I suppose I would be too if I thought it was going to be scrutinized and archived for the next millennia 🤣 like will one of my sentences be immortalised in a drone display on NYE on London 🤣😳

I don't even like doing a presentation in work, teams or in person the nerves get to me. But in the coffee room or office I'm as cool as a cucumber and make everyone laugh 😳

LivelyBlake · 08/01/2023 22:12

A paranoid person can seem honest and self-aware, to the horror of his/her next of kin.

Not commenting on this specific interview as I can’t bear to watch it myself but what you’ve written here, I know to be true. Back in the 80s, my Dad fought for years to get my Mum treatment for postnatal depression that turned into psychosis. Was told for years nothing wrong except perhaps marital issues. So awful for us all but especially my Mum. Even after her diagnosis, over the decades a few individuals, part of her medical support, have snidely accused my Dad of all sorts of nasty stuff based on what she told them when she’s had a regression.

WillBeatJanuaryBlues · 08/01/2023 22:26

@Harrysfrostbittentodger

It's the contrast between 2 women who have to be in public.
If Harry has married one of his past gf I don't think this level of hatred would have been generated.
Harry was down at heel brother, and suddenly he is with a savvy business woman who is streets ahead and excels at public speaking?

Re the book it sounds like Gordon Ramsey reading it.

What's worse than the dog bowel allegations waa that Willam said " don't tell Megan". That's abhorrent if true.

Leemoe · 08/01/2023 22:26

rainyskylight · 08/01/2023 22:22

he kind of sounds like a conspiracy theorist

Agreed, one who has, as he admits 'seen behind the curtain'....

He's possibly a bit too well acquainted with some closeted skeletons for the Palace to stay quiet and emerge from all of this with their reputations intact.

This interview is nothing more than a not so thinly veiled threat.

'If I can talk about these things, imagine what damage I could do next Pa.'

Lysianthus · 08/01/2023 22:26

Why Harold? He was Henry, aka Harry. All v odd.

Quirkyme · 08/01/2023 22:27

ReleaseTheDucksOfWar · 08/01/2023 22:24

Meghan appears to have brought out the very worst side of Harry,

Sadly, and until this last batch of crap I was kinda pro-Megan, I think this comment is right.

Harry did not, for his own happiness and wellbeing, need pushing in this direction. I do think he's been pushed, and hard, but not only by her. The Media has a lot to answer for.

I dunno I feel this absolves him of responsibility tbh.

I like Megan and I feel that Harry is one to watch out for and is very disingenuous.

I don't agree that Megan is pushing him or "injecting him with her poison" as others have literally said in other threads.
I think it's him

misslonglegs · 08/01/2023 22:27

MechanicaHound · 08/01/2023 22:23

Mentioning Clarkson article. Complaining about what 'people online' are saying. He reads every article, and in the Netflix interview it was clear he and Meghan read Twitter posts.

It's at the level of gross paranoia. Very worrying.

To be fair, the Clarkson article was shockingly vile and misogynistic.

Margrethe · 08/01/2023 22:27

PerfectYear321 · 08/01/2023 22:01

Exactly. The irony of someone correcing grammar and getting it wrong.

"The relationship between me and William" is correct. William and I would be incorrect.

I think the correct wording would be William and me. It’s correct to name the other person first.

DerangedViper · 08/01/2023 22:27

dottypencilcase · 08/01/2023 21:57

Kate sounds drunk on the power of having married the future king. Who in earth says 'we don't have that relationship, you can't talk to me like that'?!

It's probably not verbatim

And it's someone who has good boundaries who tells people when they overstep them

workiskillingme · 08/01/2023 22:27

God he's an insufferable little brat
He's obviously been allowed to shout his mouth off all through childhood and not been challenged
