In 50% of cases that's the correct grammar

no, it’s never “me and William” but it can frequently be “William and me”. Eg. “Would you like a fight with William and me?” Always the other person goes first.

Thank you, I was starting to doubt myself!

misslonglegs · 08/01/2023 21:56

He sounds a bit like Gordon Ramsey when reading out the extracts

theveg · 08/01/2023 21:56

BornBlonde · 08/01/2023 21:54

So he said he, William & Kate all stereotyped Meghan due to American, actress, biracial...... wTF does that even mean!?!?!?!

I wondered this. What does he mean he stereotyped her? She was his girlfriend, he knew her?

BunnyFantastic · 08/01/2023 21:56

Harry is coming across as someone that wouldn't know how to deal with real life problems if he wasn't a millionaire and living in a bubble. It all sounds petty, trivial, a waste of time.
DH and I said exactly the same.
What a lot of petty, self-indulgent twaddle. None of this is important. It’s all minor family squabbles. For which he is always, always, the innocent victim.

WeWereInParis · 08/01/2023 21:57

Sorry - is William responsible for leaking the stories (like Meghan bullying staff), or is William guilty of believing the press narrative about the bullying. Ditto the general view of Meghan, is it William's office leaking it, or is William believing it? Or both?

MechanicaHound · 08/01/2023 21:57

"Fine. I won't tell Meghan, Willy. I'll just tell the entire world."

He's obsessed with the 'British tabloid press'. He obviously tracks every single story and counts the number, 20 versions of the bridesmaid story etc.

He's coming across as uptight, petty and a bit unhinged.

While he does that, Harry blatantly ignores racist foreign media articles for some reason.

His Oprah interview passed off USA and Australian articles as examples of British media racism. It even cropped headlines from the Guardian to make it appear to be racist when it actually wasn't.

You really have to question why he let's American and Australian media racism slide whilst happy to have those masquerading as British ones so he can have another pop.

You could be forgiven for thinking he's fallen for the idea it's cool to slag off all things British....🤔

dottypencilcase · 08/01/2023 21:57

Kate sounds drunk on the power of having married the future king. Who in earth says 'we don't have that relationship, you can't talk to me like that'?!

bloodyplanes · 08/01/2023 21:57

Its like watching Diana playing the press for fools, it's exactly what he's doing!

Satinwoodlill879 · 08/01/2023 21:57

I’m not watching it but all this leaking he takes about, no one seems to have a clue what they were. What’s the point in going on about it if no one even knows what they were.

Oh fhs! It’s in every tabloid virtually every day! Morning tv appearances too. Favoured journalists get given titbits on the understanding that they push the “correct” narrative eg that KC and Camilla are marvellous and H and MM are awful.

It’s very obvious; once you see it you can’t unsee it!

StalkedByASpider · 08/01/2023 21:57

hamstersarse · 08/01/2023 21:52

Kate’s appearance and manner is one of total neuroticism. I can imagine her being hard work with zero humour

And yet, pre-Meghan there are countless photos of Harry hanging out with her and William, with both Catherine and Harry seemingly laughing and joking. Lots of very happy photos on multiple occasions.

But sure, now she's "uptight", "uppity" and all the other things people are saying, on the word of someone who's shown to have flexibility over the truth.

Gah. It's all just very frustrating. No one could fail to feel sorry for the little boy that lost his mum in such tragic circumstances. But no matter how "well" Harry comes across in this interview, he's put himself repeatedly in front of the media when he could have disappeared and had a quiet, private life. He's given no specifics about exactly what has been leaked to the media - which is odd when he's been so very specific about all of the other heinous crimes his family have committed - such as the broken necklace and the smaller bedroom.

I think he believes the hype but he's a deeply troubled 40-yr old man who has a petulant and jealous streak. No amount of cosy interviews will change the fact he's hung his family out to dry in a kiss-and-tell book.

JamSandle · 08/01/2023 21:58

William told Harry at Phillips funeral that he just wanted Harry to be happy and swore 'on mummy's life'.

Quirkyme · 08/01/2023 21:58

Hearing him read it as an audiobook is cringing me tf out

Why the fuck do they have to ask the Queen about a beard? Sillly family

Probably because the Army doesn’t allow beards. He was getting married in army uniform, so needed permission to keep
his beard. There’s lots of weird rules in the army which came under Queens regulations.

Harrysfrostbittentodger · 08/01/2023 21:59

I think with the baby brain comment, I would have been offended if someone said that to me when I was pregnant. I was vulnerable and emotional, and l hated people saying “oh it’s just hormones” and dismissive of what I was saying.

I was okay with saying I had baby brain myself, but I hated when others’ said it to me. It’s embarrassing and dismissive.

maeveiscurious · 08/01/2023 21:59

I thought the same 😂 😂

MeinKraft · 08/01/2023 21:59

How can he say that what they have to say will be in private?! Come on Harry get a tiny bit of self awareness mate.

I think good for her! It's bloody hard enough trying to function as a new mum, without anyone else, and especially not someone you don't get on with rubbing your nose in it.

ThighMistress · 08/01/2023 21:59

My ds (very much of the woke persuasion) was spitting feathers after watching a bit of the interview. The entitlement and privilege of Harry and airing really petty family stuff.

SomethingLessIdentifiable · 08/01/2023 22:00

"Anything my father or brother want to say to me, and anything I have to say to them, will remain private"

Pahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa

Atethehalloweenchocs · 08/01/2023 22:00

It's incredibly petty. Of course it's so typical to have a bit of family drama about bridesmaids dresses but to write it in a book years later? fucking get a grip.

except someones office leaked it and said it was Meghans fault. I would be pissed off too.

GoingOnce · 08/01/2023 22:00

Agree totally. Especially if said by someone you are not close to and with whom there is tension. Meghan didn’t mean it to be nice. It’s incredibly rude.

PicturesOfDogs · 08/01/2023 22:00

When we speak it will be in private, and I hope it can stay that way.

The Irony!!

I'd bloody say it if someone I didn't like sneeringly told me I had 'baby brain' and it was my 'hormones' in front of dress fitters and bitchy friends of the person saying it, during a disagreement.
