If Harry was your son and was doing this, what would you do?

Lets assume that your child lets call them Mr Harry was behaving like the Harry, ie Charles son. What would you do to stop this rubbish?

Persoanlly, if Mr Harry was one of my kids and was doing this, ie airing private stuff on the media etc, I slap their bottom and never speak to them unless Mr Harry and his OH sincerely apologised and showed regret and guaranteed it would never happen again.

Actions speak louder than words, if he truly loved his Dad why would he try to get the world to ridicule him for having a Teddy.
Harry wants his cake and eat it. He wants to have his family love and support him (and fund him) while at the same time ridicule them and make money from them.
He cannot see that the two things are not compatible.
Must be hard enough to walk in Williams shoes, giving enough access to keep interest, while maintaining enough privacy to keep kids happy. He does not need a spy in the camp.

That isn't a new story.

That isn't a new story.

And? Why did H include it? Was he struggling to come up with enough new stuff for his book?

Sugarfree23 · 10/01/2023 11:05

When you google, the only references to the teddy story are a few months ago. Which makes me think it was release by someone related to the book.

But whatever why include it if he's not trying to ridicule his father?

There is no way Harry is currently able to reconcile with the family, he's leaking every conversation and family details designed to cause ridicule and hurt. So I'd leave him be frankly and not give him more ammunition, wait till he hits rock bottom and asks for help (genuinely). He's beyond reaching now, like an addict, but the addiction is attention and victimhood. He's like the addict that apologises, then continues to steal from the house to fund buying his next hit. Until he's cut off, and left to hit rock bottom, there's no helping him.

If he ever got to the point of understanding how terribly damaging for everyone his behaviour is, and wants to mend bridges, then the door would be open.

I'd break his stupid hippy necklace and chuck it in the dogbowl.

Totally agree with you, plus the media are taking everything out of context

A large part of the problem is I highly doubt Meghan has any interest in reconciliation. She wants apologies and to be proved right. She wasn’t in the family long enough to care about returning to it. So if there’s no encouragement from her (probably a lot of discouragement) Harry really isn’t strong enough to try to make things better by himself.

His family really can’t win in terms of regaining him in their lives. But they can win the PR war and I think they are. This will blow over in time. People move on and I would be surprised if in a year or two a second volume of memoirs would hold the same interest.

Totally agree

Thing is, the RF hasn’t done anything much wrong - H’s grievances are comedy petty.

The RF has done an awful lot most people couldn’t object to - the houses, cash, clothes and instant fame, for a start.
