Has William's alleged affair been mentioned yet or is he saving for book 2?

Surprised this hasn't been exposed, thought that would be the big reveal. I'm doubting there's any truth to it now unless he's saving it for book 2?

Family friend is a lawyer. He told us a while back his firm was handling NDAs in respect of Williams’s affair with the woman in Norfolk. No reason for him to lie about it.

None of the alleged racism from the royal family, that was 'revealed' (recollections may differ) in the Oprah interview, has emerged in the book. I read he has a book deal for several books. No doubt saving bits for the next ones or Megs will have them in her book.

Also the press reported lots of wierd stories about a split in some sort of Norfolk set with references to a falling out between Kate and Rose - all for no apparent reason nor public interest. It is an open secret that they do those stories as a way of showing that they ‘know something’ but are not repeating it explicitly. I remember one in Grazia magazine which is why I was asking my friend if she knew anything about it. Which was when she told me what she knew.

I think in those circles an affair is simply not a huge deal. There has been so much infidelity in the family but there are also other things at stake. The fact there was a mistress somewhere doesn't seem to have affected the image of the Queen and Prince Philipp's marriage. And if the pegging rumours are true then Kate was probably glad to have that "problem" taken off her hands. Maybe Pippa always loved the name since they were small children and she didn't mind her using it.

Seriously? Harry has made it clear he’d sell his soul to get at his brother. If there was any affair, he’d be shouting it from the rooftops (along with salacious details about bottom spanking etc)

Unless he is a lawyer with Harbottle and Lewis (and if he is he will be sacked if this is true and they discover he has blabbed) I find this very unlikely - discretion in representing the Royal family is absolutely 100%.

That’s interesting as, while it’s a total breach of client confidentiality, that’s what I heard from the other side - that the palace had managed to get some effective NDAs. My query was how effective they were likely to be in the long run. (As well as thinking the whole thing was bollocks).

I find it really unbelievable that Santa Montifore has been gossiping publically about the Royal family. Her parents have been friends with KC for years (her mother was seriously injuries in the avalanche that KC just avoided and killed another friend) and she knows the deal.

Why did William take out an injunction to stop the press reporting on the affair?

I have no idea if it’s true or not. But there’s usually no smoke without fire when the press report such things.

Either he has signed an NDA or it’s understood there are certain things he cannot say unless he wants certain things said about him. Even for Harry I think there is a line. I think he alluded to it with the comments about leaks to distract headlines from will though

Not at the time he wasn’t - Jason Knauf stopped working for the Sussexes at the end of 2018, and the leak of Megxit was a year later. Dan Wootton is talking about someone in their team while they were taking a break in Canada.

And, given the Megxit was summarised in a People article in October 2019 (Meghan’s magazine of choice for stories), several weeks before anyone in the Palace knew about it, that seems quite likely.

I remember reading the rumours that he and Kate were ‘in a bad place’ and weren’t really together, I think there were examples of them not arriving together at places.
