The royal family

If Prince Harry ever returns to the UK legal jurisdiction he should face criminal investigation.

By his own words Harry has admitted industrial levels of drug abuse; we know he consumed an enormous bag of cannabis in Africa, so much that he forgot what day it was. Cocaine at a shooting party, as well as several lines of cocaine since. Add to that magic mushrooms, which are also Class A.
In effect his money (who I am kidding his father's money) has been channelled down a narcotic supply line to fund other forms of criminality.

If he had been born in Peckham and admitted to this he would be facing a long stretch.
Harry needs to be interviewed under caution and he needs to give up the name of those responsible for supplying him. For far too long a certain sort of public schoolboy, schoolgirl with access to free money has pumped money into the narcotic trade.
When the Civil Police have finished with him the Royal Military Police can then question him about his breach of military discipline. 2 years in Aldershot Glasshouse will teach him some valuable life skills and provide him with a trade when he leaves custody.

One rule for the white privileged Harry quite another for black school children who are stripped searched at school for drugs.

Yes because we always see white kids smoking joints and sniffing cocaine in front of the police don't we.
🙄

supersonicginandtonic · 07/01/2023 08:10

This is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣. The prisons are already overcrowded. Hardly anybody gets sent for possession and certainly not a first offence x

vera99 · 07/01/2023 08:24

OP compose an email draft for plod and in good faith we can collectively work on it.

Plbrookes · 07/01/2023 07:47

Evidence please.

Just anecdotal - before kids worked in the City along with what that entails and let's be real, none of us was ever going to get stopped and searched / locked up / whatever happens that you often see in the news in certain areas of London for lesser highs.

Note that I didn't even say I was outraged or felt anything about it, only observed it as a reality.

VisitationRights · 07/01/2023 08:51

I have read some absolutely bonkers shit on the RF board but this takes the cake, OP.

durhamduck · 07/01/2023 08:51

Again not moralising, just observing. Some posters on here strike me as quite naive to be honest

Megan1992xx · 07/01/2023 09:02

Story that H was allowed to leave his Army base whilst drug testing took place.
Many people have attacked me for posting this and yes perhaps I am being naive, but if any serviceman or woman is caught on a drug sting they will be dishonorably discharged.
This is life altering on your cv, in addition was H taking drugs whilst strafing Afghanis?
If he could imagine a bin and a toilet talking to him could he imagine a woman or a child as an armed insurgent.
Go ahead and attack me for posting but please accept that had H grown up in a different place he probably would have some form of criminal record by now.

"Facing a long stretch"? Calm down, you aren't Gene Hunt.

No one is prosecuted, never mind imprisoned, for past drug use.

DreamingOfAGreenChristmas · 07/01/2023 09:06

If he had been born in Peckham and admitted to this he would be facing a long stretch.

No he wouldn’t.

Hysterical rubbish.

You clearly haven’t sat in on many sentencing sessions in S London.

You might think anyone who creates demand in the drug business ought to be in prison, but Peckham dwellers, whether in late night chicken shops or the media elite In Peckham’s trendy coffee shops, simply are not ‘facing a long stretch’ for their respective prolific drug use.

crumpet · 07/01/2023 09:09

If any individual stood up and said they took drugs some 20 years ago, there is no proof, so nothing upon which to base an arrest. The police are hardly going to waste time investigating something which could very well be someone fabricating a story to big themselves up.

(yes I am aware of the stories at the time/Harry going to visit rehabs etc, but there is still not a lot to go on which would reveal actual proof)

Personally, I don’t think 2 years in Aldershot Glasshouse will teach him much of anything. It burned down in 1946.

ChristmasTensions · 07/01/2023 09:15

How naive can you get! People aren’t often arrested for personal use of drugs.

I think depends on area. I frequently see stop and searches on a council estate near where I live in Westminster (for clarity I don't live on the estate; my street has never been stopped and searched). Iirc a little black girl was strip searched by male police officers too in school down the road. But no arrests really, mostly just confiscations. From what I observe only raids of the flats (for distribution I presume) end in handcuffs.

But adjacent to Canary Wharf/City where I worked, you'd see fewer stop and searches (obviously not of white/east Asian professionals) than in Westminster, but which surprisingly resulted in arrests (for just possession) a surprising proportion of the time! Of course frequency random though, sometimes nothing for a long while.

durhamduck · 07/01/2023 09:37

For clarity Tower Hamlets etc adjacent to City area

No doubt there are good reasons why we pursue the suppliers rather than those who consume illicit substances, nonetheless an argument could be made that it is the demand which incentivizes the supply?

supersonicginandtonic · 07/01/2023 12:41

@StellaGibson2022 you do realise somebody on a methadone programme is trying to stop their drug use don't you? 🙄

No op, he really wouldn't. You're being ridiculous.

LlynTegid · 07/01/2023 16:29

Eton school should definitely have proper searches for drugs. If someone who supplied Harry and his mates gets arrested, then good.

However, if this applied, no doubt several members of the government should be interviewed as well, and the old Etonian Boris Johnson. Though in Mr Johnson's case he should be on trial for treason, corporate manslaughter and corruption.

This is the most hilarious thing I've read all day, thank you!!
