The Sun have got hold of a copy of the book that was accidently put on sale in Spain. They are clearly skimming it as fast as possible with a translator. They are reporting that W&H begged KC not to marry C, and that he thought she was leaking stories to the press.

I totally disagree. Whether you agree with Harry's approach or not, Harry is basically doing what Diana herself did when she was alive.

@Adeckofcards they aren't coming off too badly really and guess what William will always be inline to be king and the kids coming out would be planned weeks in advance if not months , not decided very last minute for security alone

I don't know any who annouce the numbers they've killed, it is a bizarre and dangerous thing to have done. Terrorists and extremists need little encouragement to target people.

actually I think the RF tried fairly hard to provide the Sussexes with advisors. Lane Fox had done a pretty good job for both Princes before Meghan’s advent. The Queen tried to get her to accept Sophie Wessex, who was a commoner and had quite a tumultuous time in her first year as a Royal before settling down (up?) and making a pretty good job of it. She finally persuaded Samantha Cohen who had been at the heart of the ‘Firm’ to take the job, but it was all too much for even her, and she resigned and went into non royal service.

@healthadvice123 What she said was shocking at the time just as Charles interview before her also shocked many people. I agree Diana would not like her sons fighting, but she did like anyone taking potshots at the Monarchy and especially at Charles.
I am not defending this approach, I am simply saying that I think Diana would support what Harry is doing.

The difference is Willy is going to be the King and it really isn't good. It really establishes the need for the monarchy to be abolished so these people aren't representive of anyone or anywhere.

I think she might also say (I mean I’ve no idea clearly) that the palace has learnt nothing from her example, and employed the same tactics against Harry that they did with her to a similarly explosive effect.
