.

I liked hearing that about Kate. Good for her. Of that’s the way it is and is like for like. All for it.

Presumably the same reason Harry called him Willy.

Probably childhood nicknames for each other.

Yes. It’s the childhood nicknames they had for each other.

JaneJeffer · 05/01/2023 02:26

He is the next king of England and if he feels the need to resort to violence in a moment of conflict it's worrying
Remind me how the royal family was established..

"Once again, gullible people believe what a proven liar alleges to have happened, without any proof. Plus ça change…"

There, fixed it for you 😘

What lies has Harry told then?

And if you think he would lie about the future king punching him then you are very naive.

Please don’t kiss me, random on the internet 🤮

HeddaGarbled · 05/01/2023 02:28

I like Zara but ai wonder if she has ever had a conversation not about a horse

What a reductive comment. She’s a person, who you don’t know.

He never said he punched him stop embellishing things.

Someone has cross referenced this to Tom Bowers' book where he describes a bitter fight between the brothers over Meghan's poor treatment of staff.

Which is the whole point of things being reductive. It’s obviously tongue in cheek.

I'm really taken aback that so many posters view a physical altercation as humorous

Only because it’s William doing the hitting. If Harry had hit William they would have pitchforks out.

"Describing a confrontation at his London home in 2019, Harry says William called Meghan “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”, which Harry calls a “parrot[ing of] the press narrative” about his American wife."

How likely is it that William formed his impression of Meghan only from the newspapers rather than from actually knowing her as his sister-in-law?!

Spot on!

Cariadz · 05/01/2023 02:33

HeddaGarbled · 05/01/2023 01:08

I bet that was the bit Harry tried to get edited out later. It is pretty explosive and will be damaging to William even if it didn’t happen exactly as described. Oh dear.

I doubt it will be as damaging for William as people think, or hope for.

HotChoxs · 05/01/2023 02:35

Knocked him to the floor then told him to hit him back. Walked off when he refused.

I don't know what to make of that actually, never heard of someone assaulting someone like that. Sounds like some kind of old school way of sorting things out. Confused

kateandme · 05/01/2023 02:35

But we dont no what else was said.we don't no the context even of this page!

And more to the point. if he didn't include real life b,ts people would be screaming what a load of fluff, there's no real life to it,we don't find ourt anything,he hasnt shared any of his life, upsets, reasons, hurt etc.
Like it or not this is his life story or his telling of himself.so the big events to him are going to be included otherwise it is a lie.other wise it is just another press piece.its not his story and he's be making money from fluff if he wasn't telling honest occurrences.

kateandme · 05/01/2023 02:37

And if William wants to reply he can do.ffks sake he's not gagged.he can grow up and stop getting " palace household " to leak shit he wants out there and just say it himself.

@MintyFreshOne

I can think of a few worse things to say about her (narcissistic, self absorbed, obnoxious...the latter which seems to have rubbed off on Harold).

His wife’s quotes: making a Mandela comparison (celebrations in South Africa for her trivial wedding were akin to the day Mandela was released from prison), throwing people of African background under the bus (“I was ugly with frizzy hair”...yes because straight European hair is the definition of beauty), and the me me me in the Oprah “interview”, she’s a deeply unpleasant character so no wonder William and Kate can’t bare the sight of her.

There is also a cultural divide here between nationalities.

Mmmm. You could see it in a way when someone is so wound up the lash out and then just want the other to hit them. I don’t belief for one moment Harry wasn’t winding him up. Probably with comments about his wife. Apparently that is the way to get him.

but he is known to be a shouter.

apparently he and his now stepsister used to have screaming matches about which parent ruined their life more.

Jesus though. Poor boy you have to have empathy. I look at him now and think what that little boys parents put him through.

Yes I can’t imagine why a child, at boarding school was upset to have his mothers sex life splashed across the BBC

This makes sense.
William clearly could see clearly the problems with Meghan in the family, the parvenu so often does treat staff poorly.

I am not sure what to make of this.

Pushing someone is never great but frankly I can't get all that worked up about it to the extent that I would say PW is terrible and H&M are angels - is that his intent?

Telling this story is for what purpose? Make PW look bad (it says they met to discuss their relationship so it wasn't just M and the press) so once again details are missing. Is it to provide another reason they had to leave? Well that's more plausible as PW is the next CEO of the firm so makes sense.

I think the bullying stuff was part of it and I suspect Harry was not willing to hear anything against M or felt it wasn't how it was being reported to PW and PW should believe them.

Ultimately (before we get the posters who are going to phrase this as domestic violence ) the language sounds off - a I know they are royals but it's like the poshest fisticuffs ever and as such a non story for me.

I had an argument with my sister once as teens - she chased me round the house with a knife - another time (older) I went to push past her as she was screaming her head off and she fell into the laundry basket

We were only physical those two times and am sure doesn't make either of us look good but ruin our relationship? Nah.

it's like the poshest fisticuffs ever

that made me laugh out loud

vera99 · 05/01/2023 02:42

They are both sadly damaged goods but one will eventually be King - herein lies the problem in an age when deference is dead and social media rules the roost where is the mystery and majesty of monarchy ?

If it happened …

You’d be tarred and feathered and rightly so if this was a woman and you said ‘if it happened’ makes me sick that people can’t see the double standards here.
