It is perfectly believable that W+C refused the camera crew access to them. And they weren't allowed to film them

Bobbins36 · 05/01/2023 07:51

Harry behaving like a total bellend now

"Describing a confrontation at his London home in 2019, Harry says William called Meghan “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”, which Harry calls a “parrot[ing of] the press narrative” about his American wife."

How likely is it that William formed his impression of Meghan only from the newspapers rather than from actually knowing her as his sister-in-law?!

Vanishingly unlikely, I'd say

caraway33 · 05/01/2023 07:51

h&m is selling stories same as meghan’s half sister and father. the irony. telling all as the truth? one sided story is not the truth.

Rainbowqueeen · 05/01/2023 07:51

I agree @SnowlayRoundabout it seems a really irrelevant thing to mention in an argument about treatment of staff. Unless Harry thought W was throwing his weight around and trying to tell him what to do because he is the more senior of the two.

Im pleased QE2 died before any of this became public.

PicturesOfDogs · 05/01/2023 07:51

But if they were shouting over each other, Harry surely must have been ‘piping hot’ too?

So how is he simultaneously shouting at and insulting William, but also trying to calm him down? Doesn’t add up.

And yes, he had a therapist but was too ashamed to ask for help for Meghan?
What a weak man she married by the sounds of it.

My cousins 10 year old daughter knocked her down. She wasn’t expecting her to be physically violent. So it happens. 🤷🏻‍♀️

She six foot, 100kg, built, and trained for combat?

Sugarfree23 · 05/01/2023 07:52

Harry is giving out such mixed messages, I want my Dad back, I want my brother back. All while releasing a book that is trying to destroy his brother.

I think this book could easily backfire on Harry and he knows it. And that's probably why he was desperate to water it down when HMQ died.
If Harry's MH is as fragile as he makes out this could end up pushing him over the edge.

PicturesOfDogs · 05/01/2023 07:53

I don’t see them coming to the coronation now.
If the funeral felt cold, then that would be sub-zero

Vermin · 05/01/2023 07:53

We’ve all seen photos of the tiny kitchen at “Nott Cott”. Pretty hard to swing a mouse in there, let alone an entire 6foot spare by his necklace. The wording is very very careful- it’s designed to create the maximum drama but still can’t outright lie so there is NO allegation of a punch, no direct accusation that “knocked to the floor” was a push / shove - how about William grabbed him by the collar (yes, in fury) and Harry tripped over the dog bowl in the tiny kitchen and fell in his arse? It’s not exactly Phil and Grant slugging it out with bare fists outside the queen vic.

NotABeliever · 05/01/2023 07:53

To air the family's dirty laundry in public knowing full well the other people involved can't give their side of the story is perverse.

If you do something like this, you must be fully prepared to be cut off by your brother and expect family members to take sides, most likely not yours.

StartupRepair · 05/01/2023 07:55

And just like the Netflix doco, it was likely at the time of writing that the Queen would still be alive and reading this.

andweallsingalong · 05/01/2023 07:56

Surprised at all the excuses and justification on this thread.

Surely any violence is wrong. Doubly so in the face of a power impalance and intermingled family with livelihood.

Given all the proven lies and half truths from H&M there may be more to the story and given the statement of fact it would be wise for the Palace to reply if there was, for example, some preceding violence / aggression from Harry, but in the absence of that I would have expected to see a thread mixed with wait and see along with condemnation for William's actions.

HotChoxs · 05/01/2023 07:50

Yeah coming across as a real victim isn't he, writing a book tearing down the Royal Family.

A victim of domestic abuse from his brother, one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in the World, and a 6 foot solider who's shot at people.

But we're all just minimising aren't we.

Yes, it is minimising. Not all victims are poor and 5 foot tall. None of us have any idea what happened, we were not there. But this sort of minimising is why victims in general don’t come forward, especially men who are victims of women. This thread really does show that people would disbelieve many victims who ‘don’t look like’ how they imagine a victim to look.

3peassuit · 05/01/2023 07:59

H accuses William of leaking to the press then accuses him of believing the press narrative spun about Meghan. None of the stuff Harry comes out with sounds rational. I feel sorry for their father having to deal with this.

Soproudoflionesses · 05/01/2023 07:59

I think they both need to sit on the naughty step for every minute of their ages and think about what they have done.

Twattergy · 05/01/2023 08:00

Maybe there will be another 'recollections may vary' type statement?
I find it really sad tbh. I believe most of what Harry and Meghan have shared publicly, but I do think as a family it'd be so much better if this stuff wasn't aired in public as entertainment and instead resolved privately.

KalvinPhillipsBoots · 05/01/2023 08:00

BradfordGirl · 05/01/2023 01:51

It is domestic violence. No adult should be physically attacking another adult.

Agreed just like no one should be throwing cups of tea at staff like how Harry's nut job wife did

This is the more likely scenario. Harry has a raging temper on him as evidenced in many candid photos. Someone who cannot contain their rage normally (kicking his polo horse in frustration for example) is unlikely to have stood there whilst his brother attempted to push him to the floor in a very small kitchen. Much more likely is perhaps there was a grab or a shove and he tripped. The fact he has held onto this for 4 years so he could write about it in his book probably tells you all you need to know about his motivations. He also knows full well people will now be claiming he is violent and Kate is a victim of DV; he's so jealous of them both that this vendetta is just pathetic now.

SnowlayRoundabout · 05/01/2023 08:01

He should try living a day in the shoes of pretty much anyone with his IQ and academic qualification in either the UK or the US. He would be looking at minimum wage jobs and council housing.

This. If Harry weren't royal, he would be one of those rather ineffectual men who has a fairly low-level office job which never gets above middle management at best, and is constantly resentful of it and blaming everyone else for their own failings.

RhymeHasAReason · 05/01/2023 08:01

HotChoxs · 05/01/2023 07:51

She six foot, 100kg, built, and trained for combat?

No and that’s my point. My cousin was completely taken off guard. She never thought her child would be violent to her.

Less surprising than a combat trained built 6 foot guy who's fought in a war and killed people finding himself lying on a dog bowl in his kitchen without some serious injuries to his face or torso.

BellePeppa · 05/01/2023 08:02

Harry’s a spiteful little bitch isn’t he. I’m just surprised William was able to restrain himself over the years before this. The more Harry speaks the more of a weasel he proves himself to be.

SnowlayRoundabout · 05/01/2023 08:02

Cranberrystreet · 05/01/2023 01:24

Sad? It’s pretty self-absorbed tbh.
Surely if your children were at war, you would be more worried about the negative
effects on them?

That's the only quote Harry has chosen to give from what was certainly a much longer conversation. I don't think you can read any more into it so far as the King is concerned.

milti · 05/01/2023 08:03

Shame there was no securideeeee! I wonder whether the bowl was empty or full? I hope the dog still got its dinner.
