I thought I'd create a more light hearted thread. What are your (positive) predictions for the royal family in 2023.

I think King Charles will have a successful coronation.
Eugenie will have a baby.
The royal family will work more.

What are yours?

H&M will apologise to everyone

With you on Eugenie - she looks pregnant I’ll feel awful if she’s not!

Harry and Meghan will relinquish all titles and royal connections and stand independently on their own two feet and " live the best life" with slagging off the Royal Family. Find their own freedom and not monetise an institution that they hate.

I guess this counts for positivity 😂

Kate will look thin in a selection of new coats.

An absurdly large number of people will line the streets as Charles is coronated. Lots of forelock tugging.

William will continue to do fuck-all and hope that no-one notices.

Camilla will release a children's book and be photographed adjacent to lots of people of colour.

People will remain absolutely incensed with rage over whatever it is that Harry and meghan do, because they love it.

Even for the Christmas break, that's a very early start on the grog.

It really is 😅

Meghan and Harry will join the new Netflix exclusive show Housewives of Montecito and will discuss groundbreaking issues and get an executive producer credit

Loads of weirdos will go to London for the coronation.

Andrew will re-marry Fergie and they'll make their home in the States.

People will finally stop deciding the Princess of Wales is expecting number 4 every two minutes.

Louis will behave like a normal 5 year old and have everyone going on about how ill-disciplined he is and their children wouldn't dream of doing that.

Omid Scobie’s new book about the Royal family will flop and he will have to get a job in Currys

Concern in the newspaper because kate is too thin.
Comments (negative) because she's put on a few pounds
William and Catherine will do a tour somewhere abroad.
Charles will look regal while being crowned and lots of people will enjoy the day.
Andrew will move ever backwards into invisibility
The kids will continue to be cute
Pippa will have another baby
Ditto Eugenie and Beatrice
Sophie and Edward will ramp up the visits
Anne will keep up the good work
Camilla will become higher in her profile with more charities.

Harry and Meghan will become increasingly desperate to be relevant
The royal family will totally ignore them 😂

Let's hope this ignoring includes not briefing to the media about how much they f hate Meghan and how terrible they think their work is etc

Or how they'll welcome back Harry to with open arms (if he ditches his wife and children).

One can hope for that kind of ignoring.

The Royal family will accept that their black and brown subjects in the UK and commonwealth are concerned that they or their institution is either institutionally racist or uncomfortable with non white people.

Royalists will stop mocking these very real concerns and realise all they do with mocking and whatabouttery is either reinforce the lived experience of British racism or that White people are in denial about the reality of our lives.

All of above and Buckingham Palace will be relinquished to the people as a stately home for day trips (for a fee)

Garden Parties to be regional

The rf will continue to throw H&M under the bus.
clarkson will be knighted.
will and Kate will take over Windsor castle(might as well)
andrew will re marry sarah
will will continue to lecture on saving the planet whilst flying everywhere

"Consort" will be dropped from Camilla's title after the coronation, maybe even before.

The press will continue ram it down our throats to justify why we should continue with this crap with inane pictures of royalty receiving flowers, attending premieres, weddings , holiday’s abroad etc etc

The Coronation will be fantastic, and most of the population will love it.

@tatalan Ignoring is simply that, and none of the things you mention. Ignore like the annoying little gnats they are.

I'm not of fan of people being dehumanised, comparing people to insects is just that. Let's hope H&M are ignored then.

Yup, this was my top prediction as well.
