Rishi rich the richest prime minister ever has more money than the king...Charlie needs to big himself up so that all us peasants can see who's really cock of the walk

AskMeMore · 14/04/2023 12:43

And the Royalists are silent. Because they can't say - well what about that time Meghan stole jewels for herself. Because it has not happened. No deflection possible. So they say nothing.

I stupidly imagined last September that when Charles came to the throne he would be doing a clean sweep and cutting back and slimming down and smaller coronation.

How naive was I.

He is in overdrive and I agree I think it will get worse. He can do exactly what he wants now

Translation
you don't have an argument so you seize upon a typo

Roussette · 14/04/2023 12:48

purple Now who's bullying.?

What a horrible post from you, you don't know about dyslexia or anything like that

purpledalmation · 14/04/2023 12:51

@Soothsayer1 That wasn't a typo it's a conscious decision to put two 'o' s. If you check out pedants corner you'll see it's one of the most used inaccuracies in the English language. It's a sign someone has poor literacy skills.

purpledalmation · 14/04/2023 12:52

Nothing to do with dyslexia 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Roussette · 14/04/2023 12:55

You really are unpleasant. We were having a very decent interesting discussion and you come on here put the blue contributing nothing and target a poster for one extra letter and insist they are ill educated with poor literacy skills. Honestly honestly what is the matter with you?

nitpicking is a sign of a pedant who doesn't have an argument

AskMeMore · 14/04/2023 12:57

@purpledalmation have you nothing to say about the Royal family stealing millions from the state?

Roussette · 14/04/2023 12:58

I can only presume you get off on insulting people.

The poster wrote an interesting long post and you just swoop in and tell them they're ill educated and have poor literacy skills, ironic given you can't spell "ill"

purpledalmation · 14/04/2023 12:59

AskMeMore · 14/04/2023 12:57

Show me the public accounts that demonstrate this illegal theft and I'll personally call the police. I don't indulge in conspiracy theories, unfounded allegations, hyperbole, hysterical language or extreme opinions.

jeffgoldblum · 14/04/2023 13:00

No one poster should have to answer a question from another poster if they don't want to , regardless of which side the question comes from, none of us are responsible for anything any of the family do , we are only discussing the actions not condoning them .

Roussette · 14/04/2023 13:00

Maybe read the articles and then come back with your unwavering support for them. It's in black and white

I'm not so sure, I think the Queen managed to keep it all together because she was canny enough to keep her mouth shut...never expressed an opinion, will Charles be able to resist the temptation to express his opinions?
I think he's liable to shoot himself in the foot, and I think the public, broadly speaking are not as deferential as they were during the Queens reign?

jeffgoldblum · 14/04/2023 13:02

@purpledalmation , I don't like posters picking on spelling mistakes myself, typos are easy particularly if you're typing one fingered on an iPhone.

AskMeMore · 14/04/2023 13:04

I also think traditional Royalists find Charles too "woke".

Yes, Charles is waited decades to do this job, and he really might end up a bit of a bull in a china shop.

I'm just pissed off that all his promises of slimming down and cutting back were just talk

I am pretty sure a decade or so ago he said he was going to give some of the properties back to the people when he became king. Let's see about that.... Hi

Roussette · 14/04/2023 13:10

Haha ignore the Hi at the end!

Lose loose are not typos. It's an error of English language guaranteed to make my teeth itch. Go to pedants corner and see it's a common gripe.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 14/04/2023 13:22

As if the royal family haven't got their fat fingers in the government pie... Whispering in the government's ear to get the rules changed to make them richer but keep it out of the sight of the peasants in case they get restless and start sharpening the pitchforks

Quite ... it's not as if there's any lack of recorded instances, and they're just the ones which have somehow slimed into public view

It's not even just the money which offends me, but the determination to hide whatever they wish by any means possible

Novella4 · 14/04/2023 13:26

@Soothsayer1

I don't think the queen was particularly canny.

Remember she deliberately had herself photographed repeatedly with Andrew after all the Epstein horror came out - that was two fingers up to very sex abuse victim and any appalled citizen ( although there a quite a few royalists who are meh re Andrew's crimes)

She mishandled the response to Diana's death and above all she 'raised' spoilt rude adults .

But she was always there . That's all she had to do - just be alive for a long time and a passive population fed a steady diet of tabloid stealth propaganda and no questions wee asked
But change had to come
And change has given people pause .
This con a nation ( no I won't stop calling it that because it's the perfect summary ) is not necessary . It is not a state occasion
It is quasi religious PR bonanza designed in the days when shiny things hushed the serfs into awe.
It won't work

We know all about Charles and Camillas lies and deceit . Some of the Winsdors sexual abuses are coming to light .
People are asking questions re money as citizens struggle
The timing couldn't be worse

The Windsors are oblivious.
Their focus is on demonising the black woman who married in and who they hounded out of the country -

So that's a reason to say what you did to that poster? Which I went repeat

I think not. You were swiftly deleted. Good

Just stop doing this
