The thing with Clarkson/Morgan and Megan Merkle is they both need the other to survive.

They had pages and pages and pages of evidence to back up their claims against the media. The sandringham summit was publicly documented. The statement which was issued on behalf of Harry was clearly false based on the way he explained how he was feeling at the time.

The argument with the Royals as far as I am concerned was absolutely legitimate clearly the PR machines of the palace were feeding the press stories. I don’t think anyone thinks for one second that Charles and William were giving daily nods to the shittier stories, clearly they love their son and brother, but ultimately they were the bosses and they could have issued instructions to at least not be using Meghan as the scapegoat which she was fast becoming. And they did do the same thing with Diana that was absolutely obvious too.

PM befriended MM so that he could get advance copies of Suits before release in the UK. He's a name dropper of the highest degree and when MM got with Harry, PM couldn't help boasting about the 'relationship' he had with MM.

MM saw the warning signs and realised PM thought he had an 'in' with exclusives etc. so she cut him off, and PM's ego can't stand the snub.

Anyone remember the chimp photo posted by that piece of shit Danny Baker, and other excuse for a human? Can anyone really say they weren’t victims of racism? When he went completely off the rails during civic I made a comment somewhere about actually being concerned for the welfare of PM wife and DD.

He seems to have such contempt for woman standing up for rights.

Hopefully this incident heralds the end of the British tabloid press as we know it. How they weren’t mainly shut down and new rules put in place after Milly Dowler and phone hacking I don’t know. Shows how much power they have. However, they’ve now targeted a couple with money and a platform to fight back. Harry saw how they broke his mother and he’s not having it.

The blinds have been fully opened for the world to see and they are horrified. I’m on holiday abroad and friends and family who are not royal watchers and don’t really care about them are pretty shocked. They know bullying when they see it. They can’t believe this hatred can be published in a mainstream newspaper. It just wouldn’t happen in any other developed country.

How has the British press ended up here? It’s so toxic and they’ve done so much to damage the fabric of Britain and our reputation abroad. Nevertheless, they know they have to destroy H&M because if they don’t, other targets will also find the strength to fight back.

I am willing H&M to win this fight. I was heartened to read the head of the press watchdog IPSOS cancelled a private dinner with Rupert Murdoch last night and that 60 crossbench MPs wrote to condemn Clarkson article. Hopefully, meaningful consequences which will see this poisonous industry finally cleaned up will be coming shortly.

I just don't understand the mindset - Clarkson made some comments that were just awful about what he would like to see happen to Meghan - and Morgan's only response is to say "Well, why aren't people as upset with what they have said about the RF"

Well it could be just misogynistic or it could be racist and misogynistic either way JC has a level of hate for MM that is not proportionate to his experiences of her and so he has serious underlying issues he should address in himself.

The funny thing about this for me is I often confuse them. When I clicked on the thread title I thought how shocking it would be if he spoke out against JC, at least I don't have to be surprised.
