My feeling from the documentary is that Harry is deeply affected by his mother's treatment by the Royal Family and the media; I feel leaving the family came more from him than her.

I agree with you. I have just been challenging the sweeping statements about her being a liar etc, made on the basis of no evidence whatsoever 🤷‍♀️

Don't have a strong opinion on her either way. I don't know her personally to like or dislike her.

From what I can see this is what I think.

She comes across a bit fake but I suspect it's probably just American culture and that fact that she's a confident, outspoken, opinionated woman. British people just aren't comfortable with that. Most people still prefer women to be seen and not heard.

She and Harry both have issues and are coming across as spoilt and privileged. However that doesn't make them terrible people or warrant the hatred and vitriol aimed at them.

The media has certainly told lies about her and treated her terribly, there has definitely been some racism too.

I wouldn't trust the Royal family or the firm/establishment and just because Kate and William/Charles and Camilla stay quiet doesn't mean that they are better or nicer people. They just know better how to play the game and play the public.

Personally I'd probably get rid of the whole lot of them.

This. I'm certainly not a fan of her, but all the things that members of the Royal family have done and yet all of this over Meghan.

I like her and Harry, I'm on episode four of the Netflix series and I'm enjoying it so far.

There is no evidence that she bullied anyone from what I can see? It's only what's been reported in the media.
I also don’t like people who ditch their own family/father because got in with people of a higher social standing so think they are beneath them.
Her father has sold story after story, he has quite literally sold his daughter. She hasn't ditched her mother. Her dad and his family are shady as fuck.
Don’t like people who allow their friends to leak parts of a private letter to the media they wrote to their father, as damage limitation, then run to lawyers when that father shows the whole letter to the media.

When did she say that she wanted to revolutionise it? It was the public and the media that pushed this narrative.

There were plenty of examples of racism and whatever you think of M&H it's wrong to deny that there were racist articles written about her.

It's not dumb to realise that there is more than one side to a story. It's quite possible that the Royal family and the staff have behaved terribly as well as M&H. I can believe that stories were pushed to protect other members of the family.
The media has behaved disgustingly.
Even if you don't agree with everything that they say its clear that the stories written about her did affect her.

Also clearly people do care what they have to say judging by the shows ratings. You don't have to like or agree with them but people are definitely interested.
