Reaction to the Harry & Meghan 'doc' abroad - and how it undermines their claims about the British media and public

Harry and Meghan continually insist that the British media is responsible for the negative way they are perceived by the UK public. Out of curiosity, I had a very quick look at coverage of their 'documentary' in 3 other countries (France, Germany and Australia). Interesting to note that almost all of the comments on the articles I read were very negative and that people were saying exactly the same sorts of things that people in the UK are saying, namely, that they are monetizing their links to the RF at the expense of Harry's family, that they disrespected HMQ, that they shouldn't be using titles (or that these should be removed), that they are self-obsessed and narcissistic in the way they come across, etc etc.

Harry, Meghan and their fans really need to accept that the negativity they attract is a consequence of their behavior - not the media, and certainly not racism.

I think she’s holding back the ultimate bombshell. Personal diaries, really damaging allegations. Truth and fact will be secondary to her interpretation of events. Recollections will definitely vary. I think she will take the gloves off completely once the coffers are really getting low. I also think she will monetise her children for all they are worth in the future.

Well, Andersen Cooper interview with PH coming up soon before Spare is released. PR machine is in overdrive right now to exalt the saviours of mankind.

Here's just some of the books written about Harry, mostly based on gossip and these 'authors' making money out of him. I want to hear it from him.

Meghan was treated appallingly by different media outlets. Very recently, too.

The RF not standing up and denouncing the awful vile stuff written about the female members of the RF is shameful. Just as it was shameful that the RF did not denounce the racist articles about Meghan.

They never said they wanted to be quiet. I think Harry,Meghan and their two little kids seem to be a pretty happy family.

If the RF was so awful and H and M are so happy as a wee family then why has Harry recorded an interview saying he wants his father and brother back ?

You really think people with very difficult family members never want to be in touch with them?
It is very common for people to struggle with difficult family relationships and to still want contact.

I agree. Actions speak louder than words. Not seen many A listers either step up to support them verbally or even be photographed alongside them.

I think they have inadvertently isolated themselves as many are suspicious / uncomfortable with witnessing their “emotionally leaky” excruciating behaviours over the past 3 years and are swerving.

This is just like the Daily Mail in here now.

Let me summarise - We all hate Meghan because she is entitled and whiny and "stole" Harry away. Harry will one day realise his folly and abandon his wife and kids to return to his father and brother.

It is all a distraction. Who cares whether you would like them or not. They are not members of your family. And hoping a man would leave his wife and kids to return back to his father is frankly horrifying.

Focus on things that matter.

@Roussette I have not seen that thread. I think MN should ban that kind of talk. At least their children are too young to read the many online comments from people hoping their father will abandon them and their mum.

And much as I am sure that BradfordGirl believes her summary to be true, it is not an accurate summary of this thread. And the motivations ascribed to posters are what she ascribes to them, not true statements of fact

I would be lounging by my private pool while by butler brings me cocktails. And if meeting friends (if Harry and Meghan were friends) why would I get photographed next to them?

@Morestrangethings The royal family put out multiple statements trying to set the record straight re Harry and Meghan. They just appeared as small statements whereas the media shit was widespread and too overwhelming.

I dislike Harry and Meghan for being entitled and whiney. They can sit in their millionaires mansion and wallow in self pity until the cows come home for all I care.

I sincerely hope harry never returns to the Uk and stays in America with his charming wife and kids.
