Who is behind the camera taking pictures of Meghan crying?

After this series and the book can there be anything else left to say ?
Surely it will be time to move on ?

The photo of Kate isn’t flattering, it makes her look hard faced and unapproachable, they’ve put it in on purpose. So it’s a clear sign they’ve a problem with her, and are trying to rile William. It does look like the issue between the 4 of them is significant. They have put that photo in to draw attention to it. They want Kate to be seen that way, hard and unbending, it is absolutely no mistake it’s in there and will have been carefully selected

Agree and it’s deeply unpleasant.
Somehow I am not convinced that The Queen’s never explain , never complain mantra will continue and I foresee a backlash if this series is a hatchet job on Catherine and Camilla ..

Overgrowngrasslady, the use of the photo is really nasty. I was actually quite hopeful that Harry and Meghan were going to have a great life, and could understand why they wanted out - the treatment of Meghan by certain sections of the press is appalling.

But latterly I've started to think they had no intention of living away from the public gaze and are monetising their royal connection by appealing to those who want salacious gossip.

Choosing that clip of an unsmiling Kate, when one of the observations from Meghan's supporters is that Kate is always 'grinning', shows the crass spitefulness of the documentary.

My opinion of Harry and Meghan (and I'm sure they're bovvered ) has really gone down. It all just seems so unnecessary.

I thought it was her laughing - do you mean the one when she's got her phone in her hand and is learning forward? I just assumed she was laughing at something on her phone.

 Harry's  stage performance   of  "happy person having a great deal  of fun within their family"  is  about as convincing as Melania Trump's.

I can only presume they/Harry have made the decision that they are not bothered about a future relationship with Charles/William - as hard to see how they think that would be achievable after this and the book.

Coincidental that W and K are promoting Earthshot? Think not. Anything to keep the spotlight on them as the special royals.

So true. It’s like they are trying to convince us how in love they are. Suggests to me it is a deeply unhappy marriage

I genuinely feel that H&M are toeing the line of bullying Kate now. They choose that unflattering photo of her, they single her out in the interview. They either need to call her out for any bad behaviour she has committed against them or leave her alone because it’s starting to appear like they are singling her out or have a grudge against her specifically.

Interesting trailer. Even more interesting is the timing of being released whilst W&K are in USA.

Whilst the trailer will have been timed to coincide with William and Kate’s visit, the timing of recent racist comments from the Palace is what promoters dreams are made of.

the stupid thing about including the photo of Kate looking stern is that it backfires as Meghan and Harry as well as others are also sternly looking in the same direction.

It must be so exhausting being consumed with their victim status rather than building a new and valuable life based on the present and future. As pointed out this “one trick pony” approach wears so thin especially since they chose to leave the UK and move Stateside sometime ago. How can you build a life constantly complaining about a former point in your life that only lasted a matter of months.

Surely the point of breaking free from those former constraints means building a new life of purpose and leaving behind the baggage that was abhorred so much. Not dragging it along and constantly peddling it for dollars.

I can’t see how these two are ever going to be happy following the path they take. This was their opportunity to make a new life for themselves and forge something new for the future but until they let go of the past and move on the future will always be based in the past.

These two just can’t let go of feeling hard done by that the media doesn’t portray them as they want to be seen. How many times, and in how many formats, and over how many years, are they going to tell their story? Meghan has already distanced herself from this version, saying it’s not how she would have told “her story”, as obviously the director (the second one for this particular iteration of their story) had to use her lens.

Unless and until they each say and show (actually, until they repeatedly bludgeon the public and the media until they get the response they want - unmitigatedly good press with a view to open and fulsome recognition of their all-round wonderfulness), with the aid of every tool Hollywood has at its disposal, their own painstaking selection of carefully chosen words and images demonstrating their superior humanity and perfect living-of-life (much like the propaganda reels the rest of the RF deploy), they’re not going to be happy.

The photo of Kate is a low blow. Though I remember watching them all the church that day. It's the most stressed/angry that i've ever seen W&K. Something quite serious must have happened before they went to the church.

It's very pointed that they did a shot of Kate looking stern immediately before a shot of meghan looking stern.
