Who is behind the camera taking pictures of Meghan crying?

Does anyone else think its killing Harry and Meghan that instead of fighting back the Royal Family seems to have mostly gone grey rock on them? I think they thought the Oprah interview would be the start of a new war of the Wales' and there would be competing interviews about their time in the Royal Family and they could point to the Cambridges/Cornwalls being mean to a pregnant woman who talked about being suicidal during her previous pregnancy.

From what we know that they have filmed, its a lot of them giving speeches or getting awards, I think they're going to look so narcissistic unless they are shown doing a ton of charity work that would justify so many awards and plaudits.

The thing I'm most curious about that I wonder will they address in the series, is are the rumours that the Queen had cancer true and if so did Harry know?

The problem with the revelations to come in their film next week is that she has no credibility. How can anyone believe what she says when previously she told such obvious lies?

She doesn't have credibility with you maybe, but for lots of posters on here, in the US and round the world, they believe what she's said. So everything she says on the documentary, no matter that it's been well curated and rehearsed, will be believed. She's just received an award fir standing against racism in the RF from a friend of the documentary's director. You can bet your life that there'll be a lot more allegations and detail. People will lap it up.

I do wonder if it will be a bit like the Matt Hancock effect in the jungle.

You lose the right to take the moral high ground when your behaviour begins to look as unsavoury as that you complain about.
If Meghan truly believes that her treatment by the press was enough to drive her to suicidal thoughts I can't believe she feels it acceptable to sign off on something that appears to be doing the same with the very firm focus on Kate.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the past it's unacceptable and may blow up in your face.

I am so excited to watch it, I think the trailer is great

To be fair, she did say in the OW interview that she didn’t want “to be disparaging to anyone” and that the Kate had “owned it, and she apologised, and she brought me flowers and a note apologising”. And she had never wanted the truth about Kate's behaviour to come out.

And yet it was her that was bringing it all back up and revealing what she'd said she'd never reveal. She knew the questions OW was going to ask because Oprah did an interview recently and said that she goes through the questions with her guests beforehand. So she could have either asked the question not to be asked or given a different answer. But instead, she threw Kate under a bus. Why is it surprising that she'd carry on doing that?

Maybe that's why Kate was so off with them at during the Queens mourning period? She has the true measure of her sil?

Well with the book and the netflix deal they have very little gossip or currency to sell. They will be completely frozen out and she spent a very short time in the RF. I suspect 2023 will be a quieter year what other gossip do they have left? Let's hope they don't blow through the money too quickly.

Everything about M&H is Americanised Hollywood drivel, right down to the silly trailers and buzz words and self care and being paid for PAs. Which is all well and good if that’s your thing - but it’s absolutely incompatible with how the RF works and if Harry can’t see that he’s either exceptionally dim or he’s being obtuse like his drama llama destructive mother was.

Is that photo about Kate being a moody cow or the positioning of the special couple behind the future Monarchs as if they're second class citizens?

I don't think he's exceptionally dim. He's just exceptionally self-absorbed and doesn't think of others feelings. Which is strange because he and Diana are very much people persons, and yet she too had this ability to cut people off dead. It's like they can't see past their own needs.

She's the most self obsessed person in the world I think. It must be exhausting.

I think they could only get so many chairs on the row so some of the family would have to sit behind. I don't think Harry had a problem with that - he still lets William go first to shake hands. It's just the protocol he was brought up with.

But in Royal terms - they kind of are. There’s a literal hierarchy and William is higher than Harry. That’s how it is and it’s what Meghan married I to so I’m not sure why anyone would be surprised to find that you have to sit on a second row - also, perspective. It’s not an actual problem!

Funny how many people are commenting on the picture of Kate and how it’s a low blow from them while at the same time making horrible comments about Meghan and Harry.

Let them do and say what they want, why does it affect any of us?

The way Meghan has been portrayed in the media and the comments made about her online are shameful.

As someone living in the USA tbh I think most people have a lot to occupy their minds right now regarding the economy and have very little opinion about H & M. Maybe the Sussexes are trying to seize the narrative but if you look at opinion polls over here William and Catherine are much more popular than H & M. I think the idea of them being victims while living in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the USA isn’t going down well in the US anymore than the U.K. but mostly Americans really don’t care about the RF and just see it as foreign pageantry.

I get the impression their narrative is reaching the younger generations via social media, as it can be framed as anti-colonial, anti-racist etc. The older generations who remember Diana and know more of the story of her sons tend to be more pragmatic. Maybe as they are older they also are very aware of family drama and how little you have control and influence on generations coming after you, so are less keen on the idea of turning on your family.

The general consensus is it’s just a Royal Soap Opera that few people care about.

I think Catherine has a bit of an unfortunate resting bitch face in the same way that Meghan’s face can look unintentionally smirky. I think it’s easy to read too much into either of their expressions, or to twist a photo to suit an agenda.

I’ve not been a fan at all of H & M’s behaviour, especially the half-truths and lies. Personally I’ve found some of the unprovable things they’ve said also unbelievable because of their dishonesty in other matters. For example - Harry had plenty of counselling, his godmother is a psychotherapist and he was spearheading a mental health campaign but didn’t know anyone to turn to when his wife was suicidal? It’s a huge stretch and not credible.

But, being fair is important to me and sometimes I wonder if I’m judging too harshly or being influenced because of cultural differences ie/British v American.

I’m autistic so it’s not unusual for me to miss subtleties or be too rigid in my opinion so I work hard to try and see the other side.

But then…..”coincidentally” a photo/Zoom screenshot of Archie is released. The child who is almost never shown in public. On the day W and C are flying over. And then on their first day the trailer for Netflix drops. Complete with a still of Catherine glaring.

There are plenty of other H & M announcements that have been timed like this in the past too eg/on Catherine’s birthday. It really is hard to see how it’s anything other than deliberate and vindictive.

And I think it’s especially shitty as this isn’t a royal tour per se, it’s about promoting the Earthshot award. H &M keep banging on about the climate but are deliberately detracting from something that’s being done to raise awareness.

I continue to try hard to see why people love them so much but I genuinely fail to see why. They repeatedly prove themselves to be spiteful. I wish they’d move on and just enjoy their life and family in peace.

You don't have to understand why people love the Sussexes though. I can't stand the Cambridges but I am not bothered that they are loved by a large part of the population.

People will love those you hate and people will hate those you love. It's just life.

They’re thinking $$$. I’m living in the US now and they’re such a non topic here. They seem to be doing whatever they can to be relevant, and that includes throwing the entire RF under the bus. It’s embarrassing and shameful behaviour.

I haven't watched the trailer so can I ask, is the bad picture the one in the Westminster Abbey? Because I think she looks great in that one. A bit Malificent, I don't take no shit, cross me at your peril, I have fantastic bone structure, future queen striking-looking. I'm slightly in awe and yet strangely quite attracted. I love it.
