Shes an actress and would be very aware that there were cameras about.
I feel the same about the way she looked at Harry when they said their vows, just didn't look natural.

Harry’s such a whiney wet blanket I can’t see how any woman would find him genuinely sexy for himself (rather than his status). I don’t like Meghan but I reckon she has to lie back and think of the titles🤢

That was one of the rare occasions when I thought she was being her real self.

Harry and Kate appeared to have a good friendship years ago, they were always having a giggle. It's sad.

Yes it was really clear that Kate was there with them because she had to be , she didn’t even want to look at Meghan. There sre clearly two sides to the story but Kate is barely hiding that Meghan appals her. I’d put money on it that when the queen said recollections may vary the royals side would tell a very different tale.

and I’m guessing that tale is what the public are seeing, selfish, attention seeking, envious, spiteful, self absorbed, drama llama behaviour

I would love to think the whole docuseries will be up to the comedy value of the trailer, but I suspect it will be difficult to sustain for six hours...!

The photo of Kate isn’t flattering, it makes her look hard faced and unapproachable, they’ve put it in on purpose. So it’s a clear sign they’ve a problem with her, and are trying to rile William. It does look like the issue between the 4 of them is significant. They have put that photo in to draw attention to it. They want Kate to be seen that way, hard and unbending, it is absolutely no mistake it’s in there and will have been carefully selected
that pictures inclusion speaks a thousand words.

Actually I think it is interesting to see one of her looking so mean, as she is usually portrayed so positively you would think she is a saint. And I believe Harry and Meghan have been badly treated. You only have to look at the situation reported yesterday to see how much tolerance there is for racism in this group. I dont always think H&M get it right, but am thinking of getting Netflix to watch this series.

Appalling as the incident was, and much as I hate to defend the RF about anything, I'm not sure we can call it tolerance of racism when it's considered how fast Lady Susan was shoved aside

Yes, but I dont live my life being touted as a saint who can do no wrong and every little thing I do is fabulous. The image of Kate put forward in the press is so skewed and fawning it is good to see something different. And heres a thought - someone in the family speculated on the colour of the baby - and if it wasnt the Queen or Prince P, or King Charles, W or K must be front runners.

Yesterday’s drama was a side-show as far as I’m concerned. Of course the BRF is a racist institution. The institution ruled over half the planet at one point, still has a head of the “commonwealth”. Prince Philip - say no more. Much more important conversations are being had by much more knowledgeable people in much more rigourous fora about this, and all hail to them. MM marrying Harry (ha), not having the backbone to make a proper allegation of racism, clinging onto her titles after being victimised, curtsying and kowtowing to the allegedly racist family, flying half way around the planet for the jubilee - she’s a joke. Doesn’t even register in the conversation when it comes to the British royal family and racism.

I don’t pay any more notice to the racists than to the misogynists when it comes to the RF. They all come with the territory. The H&M drama is just tittle tattle between siblings and their spouses, all juicy drama. Every family has their version, just the clothes and houses and jewels are nicer in this one!

Mean? FGS, she has a serious look on her face, as appropriate for the situation she's in.

She comes across as a sensible woman with a great deal of common sense, is cheerful and accommodating and the very antithesis of a drama queen.

Kate has been dragged into this unholy mess through nothing she's done, said, or way she's behaved. She's acted with grace and decorum in the face of spite and what is now actually appearing as jealousy.

Wow. The amount of mean comments about Meghan and harry. Not shocking but I am speechless.

At this rate, I hope Meghan and harry drop some real bombs about what happened during their time in the UK. It's clear will, Kate and the whole lot are not very nice people.

I don't think it was polite to use a photo of w and k in the way it was used in the promotional video - poor manners. I just don't know how that can be justified.

These two are unbelievable. The RF are not the Kardashians, the public don’t want to see a pair of sled involved narcissistic millionaires crying about their privileged lives and saying “it’s time we told our side of the story” when they literally done that a year ago to Oprah Winfrey.

I suspect it will be pretty boring (much like the documentary subjects) and the usual tone deaf whinge fest

Nope. I’ve produced programmes for Netflix. You deliver the programme and the internal promo team cut the trailer. They can cut sequences in a more dramatic way to get people intrigued. As the exec, I have zero sway in what they cut, in what order and how they chose to highlight the series. The programme yes - control. Promo? Nope.

So when Meghan said she had no control, she wasn't telling the truth?

And Harry! He was well known for using racist terms in his military days; and for thinking it appropriate to attend a party dressed as a Nazi.

Are you not entertained? It's always been a soap opera, this is just a spin off.

People pick them apart and media is ruthless towards them. They can never not be famous, they might as well capitalise on it like everyone else does. It's not like they can just disappear somewhere, open a bakery and live a normal life.

The part that got me was 'When the stakes are this high' ... I mean, are the stakes high?

But as far as I can see all she is guilty of is being somewhat hyperbolic in her way of speaking, and that's not worthy of the vitriol that gets thrown at her.

The problem with the revelations to come in their film next week is that she has no credibility. How can anyone believe what she says when previously she told such obvious lies? Like having been married by the Archbishop of Canterbury before the actual wedding in the Abbey. And claiming she was suicidal and could not go anywhere without clinging on to Harry , but three weeks later flew to new York without him to attend a baby shower. And other examples.
The journalist Sarah Vine is of the opinion that they are targetting the Princess of Wales in the film. If true that is unfair, as they know perfectly well she cannot answer back. What about caring for her mental health? And what can Harry have been thinking of to allow that to happen?

I have no intentions of watching the trailer so can someone please explain what the horrible Kate picture in it is?
