Who is behind the camera taking pictures of Meghan crying?

It's awful. The image of Kate is really shocking. I don't know what they're thinking. They said they wanted privacy!

What’s the image of Kate? I can’t find the shirt anywhere :(

feellikeanalien · 01/12/2022 20:13

Well I think we can safely say that they are unlikely to be at the coronation.

MintyFreshOne · 01/12/2022 19:49

Because she is tall, naturally slim, effortlessly elegant and now destined to be future Queen. All the things that Meghan will never be

Not to be on M’s side here, but I think with the exception of the height and the Queen part, these are all subjective things and one could easily argue M fits this description as well.

M is too ego centric to ever comprehend there is a greater good than herself. A Queen is. More metaphysical than metric attributes.
Meghan has sadl revealed her limitations and is incapable of upholding Royal decorum.. nor the Queen’s values or beliefs.

Rushingfool · 01/12/2022 20:18

I think it's all ugly. Surely better to go by Michelle Obama - "When they go low, we go high" rather than all this - I mean, apart from Kate's hatchet-face picture which makes her look, well, hatchet-faced, what is Omid Scobie on about - half-time show? What on earth does he mean?

dropthevipers · 01/12/2022 20:19

Remind me again, why should anyone be the slightest bit interested in the witterings of a has been and a never was?

BellePeppa · 01/12/2022 20:19

Regardless of what did or didn’t happen while she was in the RF I find her personality too jarring and not my cup of tea. I couldn’t see me being friends with someone in the real world who litters their sentences with buzzwords and doesn’t seem to have a very well developed sense of humour. She has a dreary vibe about her. I won’t be watching their reality show or reading his book.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 01/12/2022 20:21

I know she went private but I'd assume they would still check in on her mental health throughout the pregnancy and postpartum

With Archie, Meghan went through the Portland, where the hugely respected Lucinda Green is based: www.hcahealthcare.co.uk/finder/specialists/dr_lucinda_green

Because medical records in the UK are rightly private we can't know what services Meghan accessed, but the idea she couldn't have accessed MH support in such a hospital is amusing at best

Its on the bbc news page.

Couple of links on here by pps

The timings are interesting. I hope the Royal Family can just ignore it all and continue to do their good work regardless without any comment at all.

YellowAndGreenToBeSeen · 01/12/2022 20:26

@ShirleyPhallus maybe one day!

@wordler indeed. Good promos are worth their weight in gold! How many times have we all sat in the movies and watched an incredible trailer, yet when you watch the movie, it’s shit!

Fizbosshoes · 01/12/2022 20:29

The press did behave very poorly toward Meghan and compared her (generally unfavourably) to Kate. It's been done before, Fergie was compared unfavourably to Di but of course in an age of Internet and social media (and the fact there was racism involved) means more people had an opinion on them, positive or negative, that they could share with others.

But I don't think doing multiple interviews and programmes that can be edited and critiqued is necessarily going to change things for them. Even if they have a sympathetic interviewer, they have no control on how it will be received, reviewed or critiqued.

I guess they need the money but the best thing they could do is not feed the trolls (media) but they keep coming back for more.

Personally if William and Kate have any sense at all, they will have their lawyers all over it right this second, and get a court order. I don't know why they would stand by and allow this, this is the moment to use their access to the best legal minds, because for sure the have many legal routes to sue. I hope they are not going to stand by and accept this as another one of Harry's bad decisions/breakdowns. It has gone too far.

What do you think the best legal minds can do, exactly?

LondonWolf · 01/12/2022 20:29

I cannot stand MM's affected vocal fry. I would actually like to listen to her podcasts - I liked some of the guests, and watch this show but her voice makes me cringe.

I actually think this is an occasion where something should be said if the Netflix series is as bad as suggested especially if Catherine is a focus of Meghan’s anger ( jealousy?)
I read that, after the OW interview ( I use the term loosely) , Charles wanted to issue a point by point rebuttal but The Queen said no .
Things are different now.

StartupRepair · 01/12/2022 20:30

I thought they wanted to use their global platform for good. Instead it will be a six part documentary to settle scores. It is like year 9 drama with infinite funding.

Exactly, it’s brilliant. Long may it continue!

GrouchyKiwi · 01/12/2022 20:35

Good job, Nikita, that looks excellent.

Ah, oops, wrong thread. Blush

I know, it's so cringeworthy isn't it. I thought we'd heard it all on Oprah anyhow? What else can there possibly be to say...

I think this could become my catchphrase in work meetings - 'with stakes this high, doesn't it make sense to hear this story from me?'...

Sigma33 · 01/12/2022 20:50

stuntbubbles · 01/12/2022 20:33

Or potentially even funnier than Spinal Tap 😂'with stakes this high' is a promising sign!

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 01/12/2022 20:51

This shot looks like a stock photo of couples counselling from a free website the media may use.

Time to strip them of their titles. Should have been done after the OW show.

Newwardrobe · 01/12/2022 20:52

with stakes this high, doesn't it make sense to hear this story from me

This reminded me of the stupid stuff the real housewives say at the start of their show.

Ohnonevermind · 01/12/2022 20:52

The ‘stakes are high’ in twenty years they’ll be as important as the Yorks are now. They need to get over themselves, FFS.

The timing and use of Kate makes them seem spiteful (again) and spiteful is never a good look.
