Rumours circulating that he's signed up for the next series of I'm a Celebrity.
I know he and Zara have to make their own money but I find this tasteless and tacky.
Puts me in mind of the Royal It's a Knockout.
Surely they can't be that desperate for cash?

Anne dated Andrew PB when she was younger, around the same time that Camilla originally dated Charles. Gossip (ie. no sources) was that Camilla adored APB and only dated Charles to make him jealous. It worked.

Andrew PB has been a longstanding friend to several members of the RF.

I think Tim Lawrence was really supportive to Princess Anne during the period after HM's death, and I don't think any of us should make assumptions about their relationship.

Nothing happened to Prince Andrew with far more serious allegations.

I would not tell the police if Mike Tindall groped me. You would just get a whole lot of hate from Royal Family supporters, and nothing would happen to him anyway.

So who accused him ?? That is all I am asking !

@antelopevalley the NZ media were the ones to label it as groping based on the video and eye witness accounts, but the official response was it was his former girlfriend and they were still friends. She’s English, last gf before Zara, not sure why she was out there at the WC with him… how she happened to be in queenstown at the same time as him rather, might have been an incredible coincidence.

in the sense that they are treated differently when they are in trouble, I think yes. Other celebrities are too, like Ant McPartlin.

Doubt it - there was no TV contract, no unsavoury sexual assault charges to be waved away. Good of Land Rover to say they don’t condone speeding but would stand by her though…at least they issued some kind of half arsed statement, more than the TV production company did for MT, but then again it’s only a grope of a woman’s breast.

Perhaps there should be a similar set up for serial gropers as there are for serial speeders - 3 points on your licence each time you do it (oh, sorry, didn’t realise I was speeding/groping - my bad) and a totting up followed by a ban on being around women at 13 points. Wonder how many points MT would have on his licence now.

Yup, they don’t evade things completely, even Ant McPartlin got a hefty fine and ban. Where things get murkier is with behaviour like Andrews and MT’s towards women, they are like many famous men in that respect. It gets ignored or covered up. Anne, Zara and MT definitely haven’t got the kind of heat in the media that Harry & Meghan get for breathing, for actual crimes.

Interesting where sexual assault comes in the pecking order, isn't it. Speeding? No problem, pay the fine. Your dogs bite 2 children? No problem, they're not bad dogs, just pay the fine. Drink drive? No problem, pay the fine. Assault women? Whoa, come on now - it was just larking about, no harm done, and it was consensual anyway, m'lud.

@jani They pretty much are. They pay small fines because it causes zero impact on them. But anything that will be an impact never gets anywhere.

I seem to recall that Harry was caught speeding on his motorbike but was let off so you are right , some Royals do appear to be above the law. But only some.

No, that’s a baseless claim. You really ought to be careful of speeding lies. He was stopped on Putney Bridge during random traffic check and released. No evidence whatsoever he was speeding across a busy London Bridge. His motorcade was years later involved in a collision but he wasn’t driving.
