Married, has 4 lovely children and now enjoys wealth, but still deep down he's that Londoner that will stand for 12 hours in a queue to pay his respect To The Queen.

He didn't have to stand in queue, but he did, so respect is due. Just because he is a celebrity doesn't mean he does not feel the pain and loss like everyone else.

May be it was something he had to do, for himself, to queue and pay his respects. May be he just wanted to feel like everyone else, just be normal for the day.

Good on him, the rest of the celebs who jumped ahead though. Fuck em. Shows how much more important they feel they are, and by taking that chance, they just added to the wait of everyone else.

Do they really think that the people queuing don’t have important jobs/duties in their lives? Don’t they realise that there are probably a great many people who would have loved the chance to pay their respects, but wouldn’t have been able to spend the best part of a day and night waiting?

Visiting dignitaries, people with special needs, etc is one thing but offering a footballer special entry, I don't believe it!

I actually think he deserves a knighthood- he's worked harder for it that some others and does a lot for charity that isn't reported.
