I'm watching bits of the live feed from Westminster Hall and struck by the respectful atmosphere. Big range of ages etc, many people pausing to bow /curtsey/cross themselves or make other appropriate gestures of respect (more than one person has blown a kiss)

Seeing women in jeans/fleeces and backpacks curtsey is really very moving and I'm not sure why I'm finding it so. I suppose vast swathes of us have never had cause to curtsey in our lives and for ordinary people to do it at this time seems quite significant, somehow.

Two harps at the Welsh service. Smile

This is lovely with representatives of all different religions.

Who is the woman with the white bow on her jacket? She's so elegant.

The harps were lovely - the first and the current (modern) royal harpists. I know Price Charles as Prince of Wales revived the post of royal harpist, and the royal harp has the words 'The Prince of Wales' inscribed on it. I wonder if the post will change now to the King's Harpist or something, or if it will now be a post for Prince William as he's now the Prince of Wales. It seems more fitting for the King (despite the inscription), given that he was the one who liked the music and started the post up again (hadn't been one since the time of Queen Victoria).

Id' heard they were going to interview the harpists afterwards but I had to go out, so missed it if they did.

Another ex-royal harpist was playing when the arrived at the Sennedd so he will certainly have got his fill of harp music today!
