From a security perspective as well, they won’t want all of the family involved in every single event

Every time I look it seems like the rows have all changed position but it must just be the angles of the camera

I guess some military and protection officers and other household staff in the rows behind too perhaps

The four frock-coated men either side of the royals are security - they were also in Edinburgh.

There is something about those military hats the style that Edward and William are wearing that make everyone look very dashing and handsome. I realise that is very shallow.

That makes sense. They had to have the security somewhere.

Wish they'd show the musicians or say more about the music

They are showing the musicians quite a bit they are in red in front of the horses.

I think this is too much for the Royal Family and will be really traumatising for them. The music, drums, bell and guns are so somber. Surely triggering for William and Harry as well from their mother’s funeral.

They are amazing to be able to do all this.

@JustLyra there's no rule or law about it being only men then? I was just curious because the press kept on about that the Queen would be followed by her children and grandchildren so I took it to mean it would be all of the children and grandchildren.

Just about any uniform can have that effect!!

I like the commentator who only says something when needed. Maybe they learned from the Scottish procession

I'm sure the band played this at Prince Philip's funeral. I always find this such a chilling piece of music.

There was way too much talking over the Edinburgh bit. I would imagine they've been told to keep it to a minimum

I've finally seen them just now. They didn't seem to show them for a while. They're doing a fabulous job.

Yes definitely glad that there's hardly any talking. Just an announcement of the music at some point would be helpful, but I probably missed it. I much prefer this type of sparse commentary to Edinburgh
