I've seen a clip on Instagram where a group of women completely blanked MM when she spoke to them. It was awful to watch.
I feel so sorry for her, she didn't deserve that at all.
I saw another clip where someone had asked her for a hug, she obliged and when they hugged she really held the member of public and closed her eyes, it looked as if she really needed that hug .
No wonder she ran away from the UK

Well surprise surprise the line of succession has been updated with new titles and order twice and they haven’t been granted the titles.

The Sussexes decided to style their children as Master and Miss. Presumably they have not informed the Palace that they have changed their stance on this matter, which is why the titles haven’t appeared As plenty of pp have said, they are automatically granted the titles. Whether they use them or not is a different matter.

Omid Scobie said that was the case, they didn't want titles. So then why did they tell Oprah Winfrey that Archie couldn't have a prince title for racist reasons?

I believe I read somewhere, following Omid Scobie stirring the pot

He is a crap writer and 'spinner' who uses Meghan to enrich himself. I really wish she would sack him and the rest of the leeches and liggers who have done nothing but given her and her husband terrible advice and yet financially benefitted from the fallout.

Fififelix · 12/09/2022 21:05

Is it if the children are born before the reign of the monarch. Does he have to do a letters patent and it's not automatic?

Aspiringmatriarch · 12/09/2022 21:06

Ohnonevermind · 12/09/2022 20:40

Meghan’s an actress used to following direction. Used to following a script. It was carefully agreed but she decided unilaterally to rip up the script.

it’s not hard to follow really simple instructions
This is a fact not a racist rant

Can you explain how you know that this was carefully agreed, that Meghan decided unilaterally to rip up the script, and that this was somehow a problem? Given that we're talking about some her holding some flowers. I assume you're a royal protocol or logistics expert of some kind too?

smilesy · 12/09/2022 21:06

i believe the titles are automatic and can only be removed by letters patent, which the King would have to issue. Since we haven’t heard about this, and we undoubtedly would have done, it can only be assumed that it hasn’t happened. I am more inclined to think that the Sussexes do indeed want to style their children as Master and Miss and have not inform the Palace if they have changed their minds. No one wants to offend them by getting it wrong, son nothing has been updated.

It's 100% the free choice of King Charles as to whether archie and Lilibet can be a Prince and Princess of the United Kingdom.

Their parents could of course simply choose not to use any titles they may have - as they could make the same choice for themselves 🧐

Completely automatic. Doesn’t matter when they are born.

This is not true. It's unclear in law whether or not the titles would be applied in current circumstances. The only person who gets to decide on this is the King.

No its not his choice at all. They are his grandchildren they have an automatic right.

Then you agree that the titles have not been removed, just not added to the line of succession for whatever reason?

Does Meghan always does things her way? It seems to me that this is the case.

Snog · 12/09/2022 21:13

The current law is clear about grand children born to a monarch. I'm still not clear about grand children born to a non monarch who subsequently became a monarch.

As the current law is unclear there is only one arbitrator and that is the King.
It's whatever the King says it is, his choice.

smilesy · 12/09/2022 21:14

The website line of succession should be updated as it is a reflection of the current line. Until then their official titles are being wilfully and potentially withheld.

But what if the Sussexes have requested not to use them? They could have styled Archie as an Earl previously and chose not to. Prince Edward’s children were never styles as Prince or Princess although they were entitled to be.

What happens with the grandchildrens titles will be whatever King Charles wants to happen.

He's the King. He makes the rules now.

Well surprise surprise the line of succession has been updated with new titles and order twice and they haven’t been granted the titles. So turns out she wasn’t wrong after all. Regardless of what you think of her and harrys behaviour what kind of scumbags would punish toddlers for a parents actions?

I'm being completely genuine here when I ask, why would they want them in their new life? They were crystal clear that they were leaving to live their own lives. How could such titles be anything but a burden for children who are not being brought up within that institution? I don't think it's any kind of punishment at all. That is as hyperbolic a claim as some of the utter nonsense spouted about Meghan which is attacked so vociferously by H&M supporters. In his address KC expressed his love for Meghan and Harry and wished them well in their new lives overseas. Why on earth then would they be given titles which come with ties and responsibilities towards to the family and institution their patents came from but their parents wish to reject? It makes no sense.
