It's out next week, titled 'Revenge'. I've ordered it already!

I think the trouble is, Roussette, that there are so many hints and insinuations on these threads that it's very easy to wonder why something's been changed.
I once missed an emoji off a quote and, while I didn't think it made a huge difference, the poster quite rightly pointed out that it made it seem less humorous.

In the forests of "Just sayin'..."s and "Hmm, they did that to X not Y. Wonder why..."s etc any change can look deliberate and make people wonder, I suppose.
And I'm never totally sure what Hmm means.

Thank you.

I'm beginning to wonder if I'm in a parallel universe here for using a B instead of a b, with no intention!

I will go to bed tonight thinking the world's gone mad!

Ohnonevermind · 22/07/2022 22:39

i see the that Jessica Mulroney was sent to intervene and pressure people who were critical of MM (Adrian singleton/Gina Nelthorpe Cowne) to withdraw or change their statements.
I wonder who they’re using now ?

LondonWolf · 22/07/2022 22:44

What a can of worms. Using a B has made me disingenuous, prolific and hardline. Who'd have thought...

Me, obviously 😁

Meanderings · 22/07/2022 23:20

More proof Bower is an absolute clown.

For those who have read this book LMAO. Let me know if you think this book will achieve it's aim of stopping H&M from wReCkInG the royal family 😀

So no one said that MM was... A highly educated self-made millionaire ...that people think you were lucky to get. Or that, kindness, goodwill runs in her bones.?

That's a shame because I thought those were two of her best descriptors.

Meanderings · 22/07/2022 23:32

Another lie dismantled, Meghan DID WORK at Humphrey Yogart.

I don't need sugary quotes about Meghan. A wrong claim is a wrong claim. Meghan isn't friends with Kristen. Clarence House sources deny Camilla made the comment about Archie's hair, they call it nonsense. Buckingham Palace sources doubt the Queen was thinking about Meghan on the day of her husband's funeral. Meghan did work for Humphrey Yogart.

Bower wrote a hatchet job because he wants to see H&M fail [out of his own mouth], the least he could do was fact check.

And it's funny seeing people picking and choosing what they believe out of that book. Claims that make the RF look suspect, questionable. Trash H or M? gobble it up.

MarshaMelrose · 23/07/2022 00:02

So no one said those positive things about her, then? Just asking? You were unclear in your response.

That would be absolutely fine with me, I don't need them to!

Meanderings · 23/07/2022 00:15

What is so deliciously ironic to me, is that a book Tom Bower claims he wrote to cause H&M's downfall and protect the RF from their wrecking has Buckingham Palace and Clarence House scrambling to distance themselves.

The man is an utter dummy.

So a person who says positive things about her says we shouldn't believe the positive things as they're not true and she never said them. Basic respect says we should believe her and the positive things are a lie

But, then, in the interest of fairness, if a person who says negative things says they are true, then I should accord them the same respect.

It's a strange position you've manoeuvred me into but fair enough.

It is ironic. We will soon see if the claim that Camilla made the racist joke is in Harrys memoir as Bower claims.

KatharineofAragon · 23/07/2022 03:04

No doubt Harry has waited to publish his book after this one came out. If there was a reference to the ginger joke, it will be swiftly deleted now.

I think the dispute is about WHEN she worked there (she says 14, her dad says she never worked while still at school). If they could clear that up, that would be grand,

HinchcliffeandMurgatroyd · 23/07/2022 03:44

Bower wrote a hatchet job because he wants to see H&M fail [out of his own mouth], the least he could do was fact check.

Are you sure it wasn’t that he wants to see them fail because if the story he uncovered (or thinks he uncovered) while researching the book? Subtle difference there.

It will be interesting to find out if the issue of availability of sources he apparently commented on (only people who disliked the Sussexes allegedly being willing to talk) has skewed the story at all.

BadgerB · 23/07/2022 05:41

Sorry to rehash this but, doesn't "The Book " imply an infallible/religious/to-be taken-seriously writing?

Whilst "the book" could be any tatty old p/bk

Nah, he's been openly threatening her since the book was announced. He even dragged Doria [who minds her business] into it, threatening her to speak up or else! I guess smoking weed was the worst damage Bower could do.

Of course, the story is skewed LMAO, that's Bowers entire shtick. He caters to the anti stans. He's done the same to Prince Charles and Jeremy Corbyn as well.

Do you think Bower would've sought out people who had something nice to say?
Of course not. That wouldn't sell his trashy book. (book with a lower case 'b' of course 😂)
There's a whole business out there trading on denigrating this couple and it's all about the ££££

How exactly would Bower know what's contained in the book? FFS even the release date isn't known yet.

In any case, H&M have maintained that they would never name the "royal racist"

I personally don't think they should have brought the story up if they weren't ready to name the person but hey oh.

LondonWolf · 23/07/2022 06:56

I have to say that throughout the book Thomas Markle at times sounds like an obstructive, stubborn PITA. That said I can't imagine I would be looking forward to a televised wedding, where I was expected to play an important role, watched by and analysed by millions and in that at least I can understand his avoidant behaviour. Harry also seems to think he can speak to him with minimal respect at times and that must have grated from someone who'd never even bothered to meet him.

Meanderings · 23/07/2022 07:06

Coupled with Bower's claim that H&M are a threat to the royal family. I didn't realise what this book meant for some of the deranged. How exactly should H&M be stopped?

Well yes, despite repeated fervent denials and attempts to dismiss this as a pointless, laughable and totally baffling observation on my part, which I expect will continue through the thread because it's apparently just THAT hilarious, even though all on the thread can see the post in question for themselves Smile

Roussette · 23/07/2022 07:51

Maybe the other book doing the rounds will counteract Tom Bower's book

It's trending on Twitter. #MeghanMisunderstood

It's a biography by an Author who has written very many books about very many famous people.

Described by the Independent as a 'fearless chronicler', he specialises in meticulous research, going 'on the road' to find the real person behind the star image.

Here is a comment from the author..

Many thanks to everyone who has posted generous comments about #MeghanMisunderstood. I wish it had reached a wider audience but it did not follow the accepted media line. #Meghan was not and is not defined by the Royal Family.

Does anyone actually believe Harry’s book will see the light of day whilst HM is still alive ?
