I just do not believe that any intelligent person really believes that investigative journalists are “scammers” who collude with their publishers to sell “lies”.

Some biographers are more partial than others. That’s the most you can say. But Bowers is far more impartial than a Lady Colin Campbell or an Omid Scobie.

We get that you’ve made up your mind to hate the book, but you should probably at least read it before making sweeping, inaccurate statements about it.
I will stick to the screenshots that are shown on SM as well as Archive articles, I am not paying a penny to Bower's lies. He has already been dismantled from the excepts he has shown.

Can't compare Lady C with Scobie - didn't you all call him a mouthpiece because his stories were mostly accurate?

Also, while I think he can write a level of fan fiction, he does not however do a malicious spiteful job making money from sensational nasty made up BS like Bower and Lady C.

Fine comment on excerpts, but if you haven’t read a book, you shouldn’t comment on what the whole book is like.

Don't really know what Lady C does, except she has a YouTube channel dedicated to bashing H&M and that she then appears on that GB channel thing.
Omid is a full time journalist for Yahoo News and editor at large with Harper Bazaar.

God alive... comparing Scobie to Lady CCampbell. You may not like Scobie for his book, but he has had a career on US Weekly, ABC News, Harpers Bazaar, and more.
And on the BBC2 documentary about W&H, I thought he came across really well.

I remember seeing her on I'm A Ceebrity years ago. She had a very unpleasant character, talking down to people, awful woman.

He’s a gossip writer. Reputable journalists don’t write the fluff he writes. He sold any reputation he had to cash in with his obsequious nonsense.

Its really not hard to tell serious writers from fluff.

He’s a gossip writer who lied in court when signing a statement of truth, and is part of the Sussexes PR team (again, revealed in court). This is who you want to hold up to us as a serious journalist? But actual serious journalists are the hacks and liars?

Lady C has at least been authoring her (dreadful ) books for 30 years, so it’s a bit tough to try to her cast her as even less consequential than OS. They’re both published, that’s not the issue. The issue is they’re both terrible writers with no impartiality.

Scobie spoke to Jason Knauf, not Meghan. Even JK himself, unintentionally ended up proving so. That is why MM is not in jail for perjury, despite what the clown reporters try to frame it.

Scobie wrote in his witness statement, which he then signed declaring everything in it was true, that any suggestion that the Duke and Duchess had collaborated on Finding Freedom was false.

This is despite him having had a two hour meeting with Jason Knauf at which he was provided with Meghan’s detailed essay about her family background.

This, and Meghan having also described the very notion she helped Scobie with the book as false, fantastical and a conspiracy theory - despite the fact she actually had written a detailed essay and tasked Jason Knauf with giving to Omid Scobie - is seriously damaging to both of their credibility and always will be. I know you don’t like that, but it’s true.

And you clearly have no idea how the courts work. The most anyone will normally get for lying in a witness statement is a scathing comment from the judge in the judgment. Which happened here, but, being a member of the royal family. Meghan got off lightly here too.
