Duchess Kate wore a $1788 Miu Miu cardigan

I was surprised to see the Duchess of Cambridge getting a very hard time in the Daily Mail comments over the cost of this cardigan. I thought the Daily Mail readers loved the Duchess?

I think you are muddled. Two photos have been posted. One of the red cardigan by yourself. Another by Teatray who posted a really old photo of Catherine.

I don’t think she does have extensions in. I think that’s her actual hair.

Sure it’s an old photo - it shows her with her natural hair. That was the point of posting it

I get more irritated when they show photos of Kate saying that she's wearing a recycled dress as if she got it off eBay!!! What they actually mean is she wore a dress more than once like we all do!!! Not news and a bit disingenuous!

So OP took part of a headline from an american gossip source called 'celebitchy' for her thread title. Then she must have trawled the internet to find something more credible to support her Kate-hating views and decided the comments section in the Mail Online was a good idea

Perhaps OP thought that stating the price in dollars would make it more appear more expensive? The Daily Mail link OP used as a source only mentions the price in pounds- £1,350.

However, it is American and there's a lot that they just don't get about Britain and how stuff works here. And it is so rude about Britain, you wouldn't believe. This poster obviously doesn’t understand the taxpayer funds every single penny that lazy family spends, and subsidises every castle they live in. Another cardigan for Kate or more money for NICE to fund life extending drugs…..it’s clear to me.

The cardigan looks pretty. I can't tell quite what the white bits all are. Can anyone explain them to me? Catherine looks pretty. Her hair is lighter in that picture than it seems to be now. If my hair waved that much I'd be pleased. I daresay she gets some help with it but I expect it has a bit of a go in it of its own.
I've been digging turnips out in the cold. I am going to pull my balaclava helmet back on and go shopping now. Will flat shoes be ok?
I hope the cardigan didn't pill up too fast, given the alleged price.

I suppose she is a living advertisement for all the companies whose clothes she wears, but we don't know where she buys her knickers.
