I was surprised to see the Duchess of Cambridge getting a very hard time in the Daily Mail comments over the cost of this cardigan. I thought the Daily Mail readers loved the Duchess?

Besides which, if she wore M&S, the rest of us would look scruffier than ever in comparison and wouldn’t be able to blame it on the state of the British High Street.

@TeaTray Thanks for that photo. Her top looks like something I would wear. But I am older than Kate and not trendy at all.
I wish she would make a thing of only wearing British designers. It would help boost the Britain fashion industry and would be an easy thing to do.

I don't like the cardigan and can't for the life of me see why anyone would pay that for it, but it's better for all of us that the wealthy spend their money than if they don't.

I personally don’t like the cardigan but think she looks amazing and a lot younger at the moment and would like to know what work she’s had done so I can too 😂

I quite like the DoC - my aunty knitted me a cardy a bit like that when I was about five though. Mine was mint green with white blobs on!

I'd look hideous in that but I think it's cute.
I don't really care how much it cost. What's the point of being a duchess or married to a prince if you can't splash out.

I would totally wear my tiara every day and make the servants bring me breakfast in bed. I'd end up being banished to that island for all the Villains in 'Descendants'

Fed up of paying for her and the rest of that lazy, obnoxious family. Just because someone’s ancestor won some battle in the Middle Ages or whatever….why does that mean their descendants get a totally free ride on the backs of hard working taxpayers. I’m genuinely worried when Mrs Windsor eventually kicks the bucket- although she’ll probably make it to 200 given her pampered life- the country will go mad and lose all reason. And non royalists like me who raise objections to tv being cancelled etc will be sent to the Tower!

It's hideous. She's very attractive and well turned out, usually, but I guess money can't buy taste and this is awful.
