I like the idea and I like the video. (Not that keen on the big desk) And I though MM looked...alive!

Not sure who the other woman was. But there was good chemistry.

I haven't seen the video but I've seen still shots. Meghan looked lovely and glowing, but why was the actress she was talking in fancy-dress as the queen, it seemed like they were taking the piss.

One of the women MM had a mentoring session with via Smartworks last I think, thanked MM for the confidence boost when she got the job.

Smartworks are involved in this as well, and they have plenty of women who have benefited from their help.

It may not be for you but it works for others.

It never even occurred to me that they were taking off the Queen. Not once did I think that till I read on here. I haven't seen that anywhere else either

And of course they rehearsed it, I mena christ even the video I produced in my company was rehearsed to make sure the right messages were out across. Do you know how hard it is to a a quick 2 min video!

Harry wasn't in the video per say, he was show in the outtakes they added on at the end

I liked the video, love Melissa and thought it was great.

Oh come off it! If not mocking the Queen directly (white gloves, hat? I mean really 🙄) it was clearly a pisstake of the very institution that has given them this marvellous platform to peddle their saviour roles.

I don't react well to Meghan's obvious consciousness of herself as a brand. The video didn't make me feel supported as a woman, it made me feel that I was being manipulated. The idea is borrowed from the Mandela Foundation where South Africans are asked to do 67 minutes of service for Mandela's 67 years of activism.
Meghan maybe borrowed inspiration from Nelson Mandela foundation no insult there. I don’t get why someone would feel manipulated by a Meghan initiative but not a Nelson Mandela one. She is not trying to turn anyone, those who have volunteered celebrators and ordinary folk are not trying to manipulate anyone, if it’s not for you it’s not for you. Doesn’t mean it’s something so wrong that’s it should be deemed manipulative, anyway why does that word get used for Meghan but not the other British working royals.

Meghan’s fans donated over 50k for disadvantaged girls in India for her birthday. So somewhere out there.. she is not despised and inspires others . That’s a great thing surely

You don’t know that, you don’t know if the people who put themselves up to mentor others didn’t help others. You don’t like Meghan, that’s fine, say it but don’t dismiss something that others could have benefited from outright just because you don’t like her.It’s okay, the royals will be coming from their summer slumber soon and I’m sure they will help us the right way without self promotion.

I watched it more than once, it never occurred to me but if you spend a lot of time dissecting everything MM does to criticise I suppose you would think that.

No one else anywhere has said that, I presume it's unique to posters on here who will find literally anything to criticise.

It honestly didn't cross my mind it was the Queen either. I've Never seen the Queen look or sound anything like that not even in British comedy. She did remind me of Hyacinth Bucket though - didn't she wear flowery dresses, big hats and white gloves?
