Someone else wrote the same (almost the same) book before her. Same title etc. Corinne Averiss. My DD has it.

No idea if this is true, obviously.

The author actually said herself there's no similarity though.

Lots of books have similar themes and titles anyway! And similar illustration styles, look at David Walliams, a rip off of Roald Dahl for sure!

I wish he'd get a new obsession. Even if he has a point to make it would get lost because of past history.

Still, it's a rubbish aricle on even reading enjoyment. I read his book insider diaries or something like that and that was actually good and entertaining.

She was divorced when she wrote her books, so I didn't want to be accused of not comparing like with like. Some cracking ones though this is my favourite.

Learning of her historical novel based on her ancestor Lady Montagu reminded me how closely intertwined the aristocracy really is.
