Isn't it amazing that Meghan was the first Royal ever to make money from writing. The rest donated all the money from their books to charity, of course.

Haven't done exhaustive checks but Charles's children's book, The Old Man of Lochnagar, raised money for the Prince's Trust. Wouldn't be surprised to find the same is true of his others. Sarah Duchess of York wrote hers to make money and was open about that. I haven't yet seen any info on whether Meghan will be keeping or donating her book income.

The book looks a bit wanky but Piers is not coming across well, as usual.

I did chuckle at the Aussie news reader who got the giggles when said "They write poetry together"

The most amazing thing to watch was him emulating Trump whilst slating Trump.

But the obsession with MM is seriously bad. If I were her I'd be getting a stalking order out on him!
I read his tweets before they'd met and before she walked away from him. There were literally dozens and dozens saying what a wonderful woman she was, how talented, a fantastic actress, her personality was so lovely, and how they were firm friends and how lucky he was to be friends with her and how lucky he was. They hadn't even met at this point and I thought at the time... this is very very weird. It was almost like they were a couple!

But was she using him, or was it just general showbiz shmoozing, as ALL celebs do with the media?

Why do you think she was "using" him, perhaps he was inappropriate with her, or rude or sleazy? She doesn't owe him anything from just one meeting. None of us know what actually happened between them, do we?

She was not using him. Even PM admitted that as part of their acting job, her colleagues also had to meet him and other journalists to promote suits.

People are even beginning to wonder if the meet actually happened as it looks like MM was somewhere else at the time, never mentions him either.

His wife also writes negative stories about MM. She was caught on a cheating website, and said she was working undercover.

It's come to the point where if you PM sees you across the floor at a press junket, he pretends you are friends.
He attacks anyone who is positive about MM. The creator of The Wire , David Simon said all good things about MM recently, and PM attacked him (as he does with anyone who is positive about MM, like Gayle King). But he got the wrong guy, as he is a wordsmith. PM claimed the guy was all over him at a press conference, and he had to correct PM that he just saw him on the other side of the stage and was told by Arron Sorckin to be polite to PM. It was a long twitter fight, till PM backed down as he realised he was messing with Hollywood heavyweights.

I am not intending to buy MM's book (my children are adults), but frankly, I really think Piers Morgan has an obsession with her.
Yes, he clearly dislikes her, and I think we all get that now (even tho I never watch GMB).
I really do not care if she writes a book, just as some of the other Royals have. (Did not buy their books either).

I'm defending Meghan, I meant using him in the showbiz way, Piers Morgan should know that's how things work. You make contact with people who can help you. Did he actually think she was his friend? What a twat he is.

I imagine Meghan was trying to be pleasant and keep him 'on side' as it were. But that wasn't enough for him. He wanted to be in her inner circle, coming to the wedding etc.
He's had obsessions before I think... Kim Kardashian, he was all over her... then tweeting horrible stuff when she went off him.

I am wondering if he’s having a mid life crisis with this M obsession. To be fair to him though , his problems in the US were down to him not backing down about gun control which is the right thing to do.
