The royal family

Has anyone actually had anything bad to say about Kate in all the years she has been with William? School friends, teachers, college mates all have the same opinion.

In the years before k&w got married it would have been easy to sell a story about Kate. There was never once any stories of mean girl behaviour, bitchiness & nastiness... Quite the contrary, Kate had to leave a school due to bullying & settled brilliantly in Marlborough college.
The worst said was referring to her & Pippa as the Wisteria sisters for social climbing...
Kate has always been described as determined, very hard working in school, diligent, kind & caring. Her family are fantastic, ambitious, hardworking & very supportive of all their children.
Anyone dare to differ with me? 😁

By all accounts Carole raised both her girls to do nothing with their lives except chase wealthy husbands, while her son was ignored.

Mr Middleton, is that you? As you're the only person who could possibly be privy to that bullshit information

VanillaIce · 12/03/2021 23:52

Her boss when she worked briefly on a yacht sold an interview to the Daily Mail implying she used it to meet rich men and would wear inappropriate clothes and basically flash. Her old school head did an interview saying she got in trouble because she was addicted to mooning people

Grin WTF? Have you been cheekily editing Wikipedia pages?

Poncing · 13/03/2021 00:15

The idea of Kate being “addicted to mooning” is brilliant. Has cheered me up no end!

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 13/03/2021 00:44

Other than the waitie Katie thing. Her sister's backside has had more news coverage than Kate's personality

I think she dress nice for a royal. Seems a good mum. Knows to not give interviews with Oprah. Other than that she doesn't jump out at me as being news worthy.

This is hilarious - I can just see her doing a walk around in a beautiful suit and suddenly hoiking up her skirt and mooning!
Titsywoo · 13/03/2021 01:16

She is similar to Prince Edwards wife Sophie. They don't make a fuss just put their heads down and get on with it. Other wives such as Diana, Fergie and Meghan are very different to this and people don't like it. I sort of understand why - when it comes to the Royals people like them to be gracious and dignified and to keep their personal issues to themselves. People who speak up about issues/cause a fuss etc are not tolerated well!

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 13/03/2021 01:27

I used to love Fergie she was like a bull in a China shop. It was hilarious. Do people remember the royal it's a knockout. I can't believe she got them to do it 😂😂😂

VanillaIce · 13/03/2021 01:31

I wonder if she’s been to HR for help with her “mooning addiction”.

Maybe it's how she made Meghan cry?

This has to be Meghan! Megs why did you not reveal this on Oprah?!

I think she is the right personality for the role as wife to a future heir to the throne.

What's does that say about her personally? Who knows? But I do know it's a role I wouldn't want for all the tea in China - and the press wouldn't be able to dig dirt on me neither because I've never done anything wrong!

merrymouse · 13/03/2021 11:44

Her family are fantastic, ambitious, hardworking & very supportive of all their children.

There have been lots of snobby stories about her mother.

However, Kate has a very close family and met William and entered his world when she was very young. She has had very little adult life outside Royal circles. There is no secret past to dig up.

merrymouse · 13/03/2021 11:48

They don't make a fuss just put their heads down and get on with it.

And that is the job. Anything else calls into question the role of the Royals. It’s what the Queen has been doing for almost 8 decades, and it’s why she is popular.

JamesMiddletonsMarshmallows · 13/03/2021 12:04

Agree with @merrymouse

I don't mind my taxes paying for the Royals as I understand their worth and value in this country. I have met a few Royals on their official visits when I worked for the NHS and the visits really boosted our local economy - the shops, cafes, burger vans, B&B's, all benefited greatly and it boosted morale of the staff too and gave our new services much needed exposure.

So I don't mind us having Royals - but I DO mind them thinking it's their place to give opinions, take political stances and 'shake things up'. I'm sure Ariel Meghan thinks that 'losing her voice' means 'I had to shake hands, smile, say well done and nothing more as I did visits in my £4,000 outfits before I went back to my actual palace where staff would wait on and cook for me'...but that's why the RF have worked for so long, it's the only way they can be. Acknowledge your privilege and don't think you can use that privilege to right your perceived wrongs, especially when you're so out of touch with the great masses and what 'wrongs' in the real world really are.

MrsMackesy · 17/03/2021 19:22

Not pro, not anti, but this puts a whole new meaning on reports of Kate mooning over William at St Andrew's.

Saz12 · 17/03/2021 23:20

No-one is without faults. Definitely impossible to never fall out with anyone.

Its pretty crass to “tell all” about schooldays or university, and it suits the press to paint her in a certain way. I’m pretty sure she’d have had to be “socially ambitious” to meet and form a relationship with William, as there’d have been plenty of others interested in doing exactly that.

PumpkinPieAlibi · 18/03/2021 14:53

A lot of what @rosetylersbiggun has typed is true - in that it was reported by the Press, not necessarily that Kate actually did those things.

I was a teenager when she and William started dating and I remember following their story with interest. There were definitely articles about her giving hard looks to other females who came near him, being mean to Eugenie & Beatrice, se also worked on her yacht but don't know about her flashing anyone. Also, there were definitely claims of mooning at Marlborough. Grin

There's been lots of talk of social climbing (about Pippa in particular) and just about waiting around on William in general, which is why I just can't see her as some amazing female role model but she seems nice enough and is a the perfect Stepford-wife type for the job.

PumpkinPieAlibi · 18/03/2021 14:57

A couple of very old articles that speaks to some of what @rosetylersbiggun posted. Make of it what you will.

Pumpkin, just read the articles there... Wow! They got some very nasty comments... Googled Kate's ex Rupert Finch, would definitely have stuck with him, he's gorgeous... He's married to a stunning titled woman now Lady Nathasa Rufus Iassacs..
