Would it really be so impossible for Harry to get a job?

Seriously, He has had an Eton and University education, He must have an incredible contacts file Grin Could he really not have found some suitable employment to help fund his family without resorting to reality tv? I'm thinking maybe Bonhams/Southerbys as an art expert sort of gig (with training obvs) Give himself a pupose in life?, a reason to get up in morning? No more need for dads money?

A few of them do seem to have jobs, so why not him?

Roussette

Well.... he gave a TV interview to GMB March 2021, another one June 2021 to 60 Minutes Australia, an interview to Fox July 2021

Oh right.
The way you keep up with all of this is really impressive, Roussette.

So, perhaps he is being a bit manipulative.
Tsk!

Roussette · 26/07/2021 10:14

Haha... impressive?! I've been told I'm many things... that has never been one of them Grin

Two clicks bought me that information because I remembered I'd heard he was doing interviews, that's all it took!

Well, I hope you take it as the compliment it's meant to be Smile

Gosh! Only two clicks?
Still, for a lazy person like me it's easier to get someone else to do it Wink
And I hadn't heard anything about his giving interviews.
I probably haven't paid enough attention.

Enjoyed your post. I like the refreshing approach 😂

Thank you! That's very kind Smile

Had to laugh at Harry mooching about outside the window in Meghan's birthday video, juggling like a bored teenager.

Viviennemary · 05/08/2021 10:25

It was odd. He was on the outside looking in. How things have changed.m

Oldbutstillgotit · 05/08/2021 10:41

I thought the whole video was odd . The pile of The Bench books, the monogrammed throw?
I now await my flaming ……..

Oldbutstillgotit · 05/08/2021 10:44

To me it looks like Harry has been sent out to play !

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 05/08/2021 10:56

Reimagining the scene with Camilla taking centre stage and Prince Charles outside at the window juggling, makes me realise what an unusual dynamic it is.

Zuluqueen · 05/08/2021 11:02

Thought it was funny🤷‍♀️. They both seem happy & M is glowing. Happy birthday to her

Maireas · 05/08/2021 11:19

I wondered about the huge pile of Bench books. It seemed odd. Just get a higher desk or one of those things that raises your laptop. It was probably wise to send Harry out into the garden to play, then she wouldn't be disturbed during filming.

SallyLockheart · 05/08/2021 11:32

All videos are staged, just not sure what the message was!

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 05/08/2021 11:37

The juggling was okay but I would have liked a shot of Harry lying on his bench in the garden reading The Bench.

Maireas · 05/08/2021 11:41

@OutwiththeOutCrowd - yes, that would have been good.Wink

Greenlittle · 05/08/2021 14:28

I like the idea of helping women get back into the workforce a lot! It was a funny and engaging video 😊

Losing MM is a big loss for the RF institution.

Maireas · 05/08/2021 14:59

Women have been disproportionately impacted by covid - any initiative that supports their return to work has to be a good thing.

Greenlittle · 05/08/2021 15:01

Oh god yes. And hopefully someone will start an initiative that teaches men to take on more of the housework

Maireas · 05/08/2021 15:08

Let's not get too optimistic! Wink

Coronateachingagain · 05/08/2021 16:46

I liked the Hermes monogrammed throw with the H. Shame that at £1200 rrp there is no chance I will ever get one. Not even with the help of 40 of my most famous friends!

LolaSmiles · 06/08/2021 09:09

I feel for him a little because he seemed to enjoy being in the military and seems to have drive to support vetrans.

I've no issue with them partnering with Netflix either, but would like his media work to link to areas he has experience and credibility in and hope it doesn't become two very privileged people navel gazing and trying to establish themselves as compassion celebrities.

DottyHarmer · 06/08/2021 10:05

Why did he agree to do that juggling outside the window?! Can’t he see he looks like a plonker? He seems to be using his “paternity leave” well Confused

StartupRepair · 06/08/2021 10:15

The video positioned Meghan as focused and in control and Harry as a Fool.

Coronateachingagain · 06/08/2021 11:25

He is still a kid, and easily impressionable. Oh bless him. Yes she comes across as the "grown up". Like someone said, just shows the gulf between them and the family - such different approaches but I guess you are allowed if you don't carry the HRH title anymore.

Harry? Seriously? He's 37 next month. Not a kid.
