Would it really be so impossible for Harry to get a job?

Seriously, He has had an Eton and University education, He must have an incredible contacts file Grin Could he really not have found some suitable employment to help fund his family without resorting to reality tv? I'm thinking maybe Bonhams/Southerbys as an art expert sort of gig (with training obvs) Give himself a pupose in life?, a reason to get up in morning? No more need for dads money?

A few of them do seem to have jobs, so why not him?

Lol.

I presume the recipe suggestion from you is a joke? I can write your post for you if they/he were to post a recipe 😂

Could you tell me where they are 'waaahing' at the moment? Or recently?

I do ask this of posters and they never reply on that. I presume it's 'waahing' from the OW five months ago.

SueSaid · 24/07/2021 14:06

'Could you tell me where they are 'waaahing' at the moment? Or recently?'

OW was March was this year. His tacky (speculating, sorry) book is next year. His poor me podcasts were this year. It's a current ongoing waah. We refer to things the royals have done from decades ago so not sure where this 'must have happened this week or it doesn't count' rule has come from.

I feel I could help him tbh Grin, he just needs to put all those nasty negative thoughts in a little box and pop the lid on, or he could write a long letter venting all his gripes then tear it into tiny pieces and toss the pieces into the ocean. Cleansing and purging if you like.

This harking back and harping on will be damaging to the soul. If only he could find some freedom.

SallyLockheart · 24/07/2021 14:08

OW, the mental health programme, the day Shepard interview, the forthcoming book being the next wingefest. If Harry isn’t going to aim at the RF in the book, why did he only tell them “moments” before it was outed my the media. After all he was here for the Diana statue event, that would have been the ideal time to tell the queen and william

SallyLockheart · 24/07/2021 14:10

It’s just so Thomas Markle, isn’t it? Give me what I want or I’ll go to the media every month until you do what I want (whatever that is). Isn’t that why Meghan cut contact with her dad?

SallyLockheart · 24/07/2021 14:12

The RF has been pilloried for their employment policies in the sixties, so these interviews since March 2021 are very very recent

Roussette · 24/07/2021 14:16

OW was March was this year

Yes. That's why I said 5 months ago .... time sure does fly when you're enjoying yourself Grin

Book.
You have no idea what will be in it. You have no idea if it will be tacky.

There's only one certainty. You will hate it whatever is in it. 😂

I know we refer to things the royals have done from years ago, it's just you talking of 'constant waaahing' like something has happened today?

I think he is well on his way to freedom. With two little children and the woman he loves.

Roussette · 24/07/2021 14:18

Sally You don't know what is going to be in the book. Except you'll hate it.
If it was a recipe book you'd hate it!

(Do hope they do that, that would be great!)

What is it they are doing that is so TM? What are you saying they want?!

I have no idea!

SueSaid · 24/07/2021 14:19

@SallyLockheart

Exactly!

The parallels are staggering.

Roussette · 24/07/2021 14:20

The RF has been pilloried for their employment policies in the sixties

Pilloried?

The Guardian uncovered it on 2nd June. Other sources picked it up. Nothing more on it after 3rd June.
Hardly pilloried.

Roussette · 24/07/2021 14:22

The parallels are staggering

What is the 'do as I want' though?

I haven't a clue. Could someone elighten me?

You are suggesting that they are blackmailing the RF because they want something. TM wanted something. Contact with MM and access to his GC.
What is it H&M want?

SueSaid · 24/07/2021 14:22

'If Harry isn’t going to aim at the RF in the book, why did he only tell them “moments” before it was outed my the media'

Yes, why would it be anything else than the victim narrative he seems stuck on.

It's all co dependent, enabling, projecting crap isn't it, blame everyone else constantly instead of living his best life and just being happy.

Yuckyfinger · 24/07/2021 14:23

I havent RTFT but surely to do a standard type job that paid a suitable amount for their lifestyle, he would need some experience of working in that field...?
We dont know what his involvement in his charity work is, and whether that translates into a tangible job with suitable salary.

WelliesandWine88 · 24/07/2021 14:27

@LindaEllen

Who are you to say what job he's allowed to get to earn his money? He's earning his money to support his family, and good on him.

I don't know why people are getting so fixated about the fact they're still in the limelight. That was never the problem. The problem was the unfair spin and the hounding of the UK press. When things are done on THEIR term, it's absolutely fine, and up to them.

100% this!!

OP would you take kindly to someone judging how you finance your life /family? Or telling you to live a life you clearly don't want, to find your parents and siblings?

WelliesandWine88 · 24/07/2021 14:31

'fund, not find' 😅

Puzzledandpissedoff · 24/07/2021 14:46

surely to do a standard type job that paid a suitable amount for their lifestyle, he would need some experience of working in that field...?

Well yes, but I'm not sure he has any real experience in anything which could generate that sort of cash. He dabbles in this and that, but the real USP is his royalness and the chance to stick "Prince" on the letterheads, along with the tantalising possibility of more "revelations"

Roussette · 24/07/2021 14:55

Well... he got a job didn't he?
But posters on here didn't like it. Didn't like the way it was announced, the wording, any of it.
They ridiculed it continually.

He can't win.

smilesy · 24/07/2021 14:55

What is it H&M want?

I think this goes to the heart of things. What do they want? What are they trying to achieve? They have financial independence, a nice home, two lovely children. Why are they not just moving on?

SueSaid · 24/07/2021 15:08

'think this goes to the heart of things. What do they want? What are they trying to achieve? They have financial independence, a nice home, two lovely children. Why are they not just moving on'

H just seems so very intent on 'his truth' or more accurately getting his revenge for being told no, most of us can clearly see it. His supporters will insist it's his right to tell whatever stories he like yet in the next breath say people have no right to tell stories about him 🙄.

Setting the record straight with all his perceived slights. Grim. Love doesn’t always win eh Harry?!

Roussette · 24/07/2021 15:09

OK. But I really asked that because of an insinuation they are blackmailing the RF by publishing a book or whatever...

TM wants contact with his daughter so threatened to do a paid interview monthly if that didn't happen.

I don't think they are doing what he is doing, hence my question.

Roussette · 24/07/2021 15:10

Love doesn’t always win eh

It is for him.

smilesy · 24/07/2021 15:20

@Roussette. I realise that is why you asked the question, but it just struck a chord. What do you think they want?

Puzzledandpissedoff · 24/07/2021 15:24

His supporters will insist it's his right to tell whatever stories he likes ...

FWIW I agree with them on this; it's a free world and within the law he can say anything he wants, whether those words are well judged or not

Trouble is, everyone else has that right too, even if it's to point out that he's got something downright wrong or that they just plain don't agree with him, and that's what both he and some others seem to struggle to tolerate

Roussette · 24/07/2021 15:25

Ahhh sorry smilesy I thought you might have missed that.

What do I think they want?

Well.... as my question saying that, was in response to posters insinuating he is doing a TM and wanting something.... I don't agree that is the case, so my answer is 'nothing'.
I don't consider he is demanding anything from the RF by writing his memoirs next year or whatever.

SueSaid · 24/07/2021 15:26

'It is for him.'

#Love isn't winning with his UK family is it? If love always won he wouldn't be behaving like this, he'd be busy counting his millions and living happily ever after with his wife and kids.

He has scores to settle doesn't he and he won't be happy it seems until he has caused his UK family as much hurt, sadness and disappointment as possible.

I wonder what he is hoping to achieve by it. Selling his soul to the highest bidder is just everything he has previously purported to loathe.

Roussette · 24/07/2021 15:43

Oh don't be so dramatic!

'Selling his soul' 😂😂

Do you know how many other Royals have written autobiographies? I did a link on here, but as it doesn't fit the narrative, it was ignored. In case you want to read it.. twitter.com/courtjeweller/status/1417185659077468161 here]] are the details.
