Starting this thread while I digest the last few posts on the previous thread. I think the H&M saga could be as unsettling for the RF as the Charles & Diana bad publicity in the 1990s, if not worse.

@My0My I've ordered that book. Managed to get the last cheap used copy on Amazon. The copies left are much more expensive.

The Queen loaned a few tiaras for that exhibition. They were all glorious.

It does seem a waste to have such exquisite jewels just sitting in a vault. I think for once Paula made a wise choice to maximise the use of her tiara.

If you are going to wear a tiara, you really might as well go all out and opt for a much more impressive one.

The Swedish royals have some interesting coloured gemstone tiaras (sapphire, amethyst and aquamarine).
