Starting this thread while I digest the last few posts on the previous thread. I think the H&M saga could be as unsettling for the RF as the Charles & Diana bad publicity in the 1990s, if not worse.

Reported where? If it's the Daily Mail I don't hold out much belief in that.
If elsewhere that tends to get facts straight, OK, a wrong thing to do totally.

Myimaginarycathadfleas · 05/07/2020 10:54

@Roussette

Harry bullied a member of staff? Have you got a source for that?
I think this is one of those things that was widely reported, not just in the DM (which I agree is not a reliable source, but can often be accurate, more by accident than design)
Roussette · 05/07/2020 10:59

Interesting. Can't find anything but haven't delved too much. I would've just thought it was out of character for Harry but what do I know

Oldbutstillgotit · 05/07/2020 11:04

Yes it does sound out of character however he clearly wanted MM to have whatever she wanted and was probably a bit stressed in the lead up to the wedding with the Markle family’s shenanigans.

@HannahStern

But not half as unsettling as Prince Andrew finding himself in the slammer.

I can’t wait to see all that play out. I’m sure his ability to sweat has returned since he found out his old Ghislaine was in the slammer😜
Blossom513 · 05/07/2020 11:12

Why is there suddenly a flurry of books being released about them? Is there usually a restriction placed on books about the RF but now they have left anyone can write about them?

I think that's a very unfair comment on Mummy195. I'm here more than she is! sad git that I am

Are you being paid? Shock

goldierocks · 05/07/2020 11:33

I have an accessible version of the Windsor Castle exhibition guide, which has transcripts of the recordings. I posted exactly what PH said a few pages ago. He didn't say anything like the words Mummy thought he did.

Roussette · 05/07/2020 11:38

What's this 'being paid' stuff. I'm out the loop on that!

Plenty of family distractions here as I and DCs and DH prepare a Zoom quiz for all the wider family tonight. Perhaps I should have a royal section!

On second thoughts, perhaps not Grin

Sorry to be confusing.

I meant of course you wouldn't know what was out of character for Harry, just like the rest of us.

All anybody can go on are various descriptions/reports.

The Well, hopefully...? bit was meant to be a joke.

Like: "Do you know more and is that why you're posting?"

Sorry. I thought you'd get it.

EinsteinsArousedSausagesHCB · 05/07/2020 11:43

You can't fail to admit that the MSM are obsessed at reporting on H&M but probably not so much PP.

I don't know if it's already been said, as not got past this post yet. But, the PP milk ad was widely reported back in Jan. Lady Kitty Spencer did a milk ad too.

It was also discussed on earlier H&M threads at the time.

Roussette · 05/07/2020 11:44

Lockdown has reduced my brain to the size of a small baked bean. Slow on the uptake, sorry Grin
Get it now!

Roussette · 05/07/2020 11:45

I know it was Einstein. Never said it wasn't. But it was fairly fleeting on the H&M threads.

Bloody hell, after posting that I cannot find where I was up to on here!

Note to self..... bookmark before posting.

I know it was Einstein. Never said it wasn't. But it was fairly fleeting on the H&M threads.

Ah ok, I read your post as stating otherwise so thought it was worth a mention. Smile

Also I disagree on the 'fleeting' part. Iirc, PP's ad was discussed along with Zara, as part of a wider discussion. Perhaps not as in depth as you would like though. However I wouldn't expect PP to remain a huge topic of discussion on a thread about H&M.
