I am really not sure about this. They "felt compelled" to share how the name came about and to announce their new venture but they're not releasing details because they want the focus to remain on the Covid crisis?

This is a mess. Full of contradiction. I finally admit that they have lost their way.

I always assumed that Archie was a near anagram of Rachel, and then Harrison for Harry's son. So their child's name derived from both of theirs. Presumably a girl would have been Rachel Harriet or something.
I imagine that Archewell is also based on an anagram of MM's forename. Certainly, the Greek word bit sounds like pure BS.

Aaw I just read that James Middleton is starting a fund to support animal charities. Someone who is doing something good for sincere reasons. I saw him being interviewed at Crufts and he seems so genuine.

Good on him.

If you can support your favourite charity or local hospice then please do. I spoke to a friend who is a NHS manager and she says that financial support is really needed for the non-government hospices etc. I was pleased to see a news report about it last night.

The Middletons have been much maligned in the past but they kept their dignity and hired some very good PR people! And good on them - self-made, self-aware and sensible.

I worked in PR for a long time and would bet my last pound that Harry and Megan are paying huge sums for advice, then ignoring it.

It is impossible to advise ego-driven types as they always know better.

They are doing a great job of driving their public image into the ground.

I love the video that William and Kate have done. Very natural and friendly. If H&M produce any kind of budget/cut price comms in the next few days, we'll know for sure they are attempting to compete.

Where have they come up with the idea that arche in Greek means "strength and action"?
