Stunning. Both of them. What a shame they're going away. They really add something to the RF.

I think this is the most beautiful Meghan has looked since her wedding day.

Mummy

Thanks for the video. I'm not disputing the protocol is that SR must have their comms approved by BP. I can imagine that is very much the case. What I am disputing is that BP approved the comms from at least January onwards. That SR went ahead and released anyway. Their comms were not aligned so don't believe BP could have approved it.

PortiaCastis · 07/03/2020 20:43

Thanks @Cerseirys. Hmm I need that dress for my post wedding evening do Smile

Mummy195 · 07/03/2020 20:47

Not too sure what does not align.

PortiaCastis · 07/03/2020 20:47

Well Meghan certainly doesn't look like Kim Kardashian in that dress and she looks stunning

SetPhasersTaeMalkie · 07/03/2020 20:56

God I love her clothes. She is looking incredible.

Cerseirys · 07/03/2020 20:59

Meghan and Kim have similar skin and hair colour but the resemblance ends there. I think people who compare the two mean it as an insult but Kim is actually a very attractive woman under all the makeup and contouring.

Rainbows8117 · 07/03/2020 21:19

mummy the statements on 8th Jan, released first by Sussex Royal, quite lengthy and detailed about what they will be doing. Followed by a Royal Statement (not released at the same time) that was only two sentences long, and included 'we understand their desire to take a different approach, but these are complicated issues that will take time to work through'

These do not seem like two aligned statements. This does not seem like BP approved the SR statement. If they did then wouldn't it be more supportive of H&M? Would they not be reinforcing H&Ms position?

No matter whether someone agrees with the statement or not, I find it hard to believe people think BP approved it.

H & M received a standing ovation at the Royal Albert Hall

The only reason people would use the KK comparison is to put MM down.
If she was blonde they would go down the Jordan route... joke.
People can't stand the fact she looks good and they both look happy.
So they have to find a random way to bring her down.
It would be funny if it wasn't bullying.

The barrel scraping going on at the minute is quite something Grin

Mummy195 · 07/03/2020 22:14

She has never channelled KK at all. KK is usually all about displaying boobs, inflated bum etc.

For me it would have been VB, if I had to say someone. The striped shirt and white wide leg trousers at Wimbledon one year, the sleek body con type dresses / pencil skirt types. The ponytail with parting and messy bun............. Very on point afaic

I might get deleted for this, but i am so fed up with the vile bullies who even stoop so low as to use a child to make a dig at the mother.
It makes me question some forums and whether they would allow this if it was attacking other prominent mothers.
Keeping a child away from the media is a good thing, even if they are part of the royal family.

Mummy195 · 07/03/2020 22:43

The fake sympathy to take a dig at the mother is absolutely disgusting.

Cerseirys · 07/03/2020 22:44

"Showing off her bump" too 🙄 When you're pregnant it's pretty hard to hide a bump!

yolofish · 07/03/2020 22:45

For me, I feel that matching the dress to the uniform - although it, and she, and he, look lovely - is actually a way of detracting from what the uniform signifies - duty, commitment, honouring the monarch up to the point of dying. Which god knows, so many of our young men and boys have done over the years.

yolofish · 07/03/2020 22:46

(and of course our young women too)

Mummy195 · 07/03/2020 22:51

Strange how in other quarters when a woman dresses similar to military at an event it's seen as a solidarity or sign of respect.

Yolo, that is a ridiculous stretch. Honestly. take a look at some of Kate's themed dressing before you make that point.

Encyclo · 07/03/2020 22:54

Snap Mummy!

Samcro · 07/03/2020 22:54

Ahh kate
she who can do no wrong..
Ffs they are different woman in different roles.
But hey use how kate dresses on rememberance day to have a dig a meghan.

OP posts:
yolofish · 07/03/2020 22:58

Hmm. Perhaps fair point. But OTH, a subdued military style coat for a day time engagement, versus a glitzy dress that matches the red stripe on the side of your husand's trousers?

Despite all the ridiculousness of the MM discussions, for those of us with service connections, however ridiculous it seems, these things can be very sensitive - and perhaps more than some of you know.

Cerseirys · 07/03/2020 22:59

Wow.

Some people are going to do themselves an injury with all this reaching they're doing.

Samcro · 07/03/2020 23:03

I know yolo
But please don't assume that others on here do not have that connection, or repect.
But using it to drag down a woman is still wrong.

Indeed.
