The DM group is shady af.
So obviously, the 'hoax' story is put up to shut down the real news, which is that Harry won one of his hacking cases yesterday. That is buried in the ether, so everyone had to run with this rather questionable 'hoax' story, to push the narrative that Harry will not be safe outside the bosom of the RF, you know, like when DM sent paps for hire to stalk MM, and pretend she was looking at the camera, just to prove that the world will pap them now (instead of the DM ruining them with pen and paper). Though it looks like H&M, with the help of locals, were on top of shutting that down.
When was this recording supposedly made? New Year's eve? January? When no one knew where they were. They did and still do have the Sussex Royal team who made sure to cover all grounds and not leak their whereabouts, but somehow this call came through right in the middle of their holiday, after much vetting. The house is speculated to be owned by a Russian millionaire - who denied that. So the recording had to come from some dodgy Russians too. But the same Harry who is suing for phone hacks, is talking rather freely on the phone with a stranger - a collection of what we already know, so it doesn't all sound too outlandish. To add gravitas, HMQ and PM were also 'pranked' in the past.
I never read much of the other articles, but we are also supposed to believe that MM friends are talking to the same press that H&M are suing. Despite the fact that last time, friends supposedly talked the story was twisted that MM sent them, then Serena W saying something about her coming to watch a match had the same effect, so now it looks like friends have decided to keep shmum incase it all gets twisted.
The timing of everything kind of reminds me of the Disney narrative. They went to Disney in the summer and did the 'pitch' (though some say it was all fake dubbed) for voice over, to raise funds for the elephant charity. So the press sat on this video the whole time, only to release it when they go out so to make it like they were pitching to make money for themselves.
I'm expecting a whole flurry of videos, audios and lies till the 31st. I wonder if the Sussexes will be able to defend themselves from the 1 April when they are out of the 'no comment' zone. Though I imagine, they will ignore some.
