PH is as much to blame as MM though. I do think he thought MM could help him distance himself from the Royal family, which he wanted, (though perhaps not quite as distanced as they have.)

Apart from the press and his mother and the TV interviews and the squidgy and tampon tapes he has also had continuous press speculation about his parentage. I can see how that would make him hypersensitive to the press coverage of his wife.

I think had MM had more understanding of the Royals and what the public expect and had PH hated them less MM would have negotiated her way through this more easily as she is more savvy than that.

Apparently there was just a lot of equestrian paraphernalia in the boot, it was the temerity of being searched she objected to. Incidentally it was because there had been an escape from Broadmoor that security was tightened up.

Of M has said that is smacks of her feeling above and superior to the understandable workings out of what can and can't be allowed in their future endeavors

They have walked away from all this to seek some nebulous global celebrity with fans rather than citizens.

I think it must be a combination of arrogance and stupidity, and probably half and half on both sides.

M is a clever woman in her own arena, but not clever enough to realise what she married into, and arrogant enough to believe she could make it work her way.

H is arrogant enough to believe that Royal trumps all, and stupid enough to believe that too.

Sussex Royal has just put an update up on their IG page outlining their plans for the transition stage, but the info is not downloading so I think they’ve broken the internet.
