To think this Is absolute nonsense? Surely the press would be on it ??

OP posts:
TheYear · 27/11/2019 09:34

Still no one has given links to ‘all the foreign media’ articles reporting this!

crustycrab · 27/11/2019 09:42

It's not his hand on her waist that is telling. It's her hand holding his arm that is.

goodbyestranger · 27/11/2019 09:53

I don't need to read it again, I typed it exactly as intended.

goodbyestranger · 27/11/2019 09:56

I think it's a bit demeaning to suggest Kate Middleton is a victim. Perhaps she's quite happy not to divorce; she may not actually love William any more, assuming she did at the outset. Not all cuckolded wives are little women, weeping at home.

Tojigornot · 27/11/2019 09:57

@goodbyestranger So, are you going to tell us where you got that information from?

goodbyestranger · 27/11/2019 09:57

And yes, not ok for MN to let the buck toothed toff comment pass.

goodbyestranger · 27/11/2019 09:58

Fairly directly from a Turnip Toff.

goodbyestranger · 27/11/2019 10:01

Although I'm completely open to you not believing it Tojigornot, it won't spoil my day. Possibly ask yourself about the circumstantial evidence though, and how far it corroborates the story which has been all over the foreign press for months and even crept into the UK mainstream news too until the latter was sat on.

PortiaCastis · 27/11/2019 10:02

How would you all feel if you had to turn up at the school gates everyday whilst the gossips spread rumours about your Husband having an affair ? Would you be happy for your innocent children to hear it

^^^ Precisely

goodbyestranger · 27/11/2019 10:04

Anyone keen for links who can read French has it within a click of the mouse to dig up the articles.

longwayoff · 27/11/2019 10:05

Kate took longer than most to decide to throw her lot in with the RF and she knows what to expect. Diana was an exception, kicking off over a mistress, very bad form, no wonder they thought she was mad. Too much Barbara Cartland in her formative years.

PortiaCastis · 27/11/2019 10:08

It would seem some media and online folk are rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of a malicious rumour
Won't stop the law suits though

Wheresthebeach · 27/11/2019 10:16

I think there are a lot of reasons that brothers fall out especially as they have such different approaches to public life. Also touching another woman doesn't equate with cheating.

A quick google shows loads of articles about it; it would certainly explain the rift between the two women. I do think that Royals attitude to adultery is shocking in this day and age.Esp considering their role in the Church.

I hope its not true...quite sad if Kate views this as the 'price to be paid'.

goodbyestranger · 27/11/2019 10:21

Kate has not done badly out of this marriage.

I don't think the so-called rumours are based on a photo!

The royal family's attitude to a lot of things is highly questionable, not just the limited issue of adultery.

MissMarpletheMurderer · 27/11/2019 10:43

This happens the world over regardless if you are rags or riches. The best way of keeping children innocent is to keep your pants on.

theEnglishInPatient · 27/11/2019 10:57

What's the big deal? The royal family has no role nowadays, people only like them because it's a posh soap opera.

The chose to be in the public eye, they try to be discreet, but it's obvious people will talk about scandals.

Not sure how some people even manage to blame Meghan about all that, when rumours and photo started years before she came on that scene Grin
Bet she will be blamed for Will reseeding hairline and Kate going grey!

noodlenosefraggle · 27/11/2019 11:04

As if she wouldn't have thrown her lot in years earlier if she had the chance. Wills was the one keeping her hanging around allegedly. She hung around waiting for years, through a break up where she was still sitting there while he was flirting and partying with groups of women, not caring who photographed and published pictures of it. I don't know why anyone would be surprised if he was having an affair. Its what happens in Royal and aristo circles, and has done for generations. Boredom + money + opportunity. Its hardly the worlds most surprising development if he was shagging around or had a long term mistress.

theEnglishInPatient · 27/11/2019 11:10

why should he care? He wasn't committed to anyone, he didn't need to hide all his girlfriends of the time. Some of the most famous ones were not ready to accept his lifestyle and marry him, can't blame them either.

AgeLikeWine · 27/11/2019 11:12

Why would anyone be surprised that a man in William’s position would have a ‘mistress’? Such behaviour is the expected norm, And it would be far more surprising if he didn’t.

theEnglishInPatient · 27/11/2019 11:36

Such behaviour is the expected norm
it's not actually, but it has been his own normal behaviour for years.

At least Harry and Meghan seem to have genuinely fallen in love with each other, Will and Kate have always seemed to have a very reasonable arrangement, not quite the fairytale.

breakfastpizza · 27/11/2019 11:58

Kate took longer than most to decide to throw her lot in with the RF

Huh? 'Waity Katie' springs to mind...

MangoFeverDream · 27/11/2019 12:29

Exactly long way Diana wouldn’t look the other way. Kate may not like it, but she’s clearly accepted it 🤷‍♀️

Practicalmagico · 27/11/2019 12:34

I highly doubt it’s true. After seeing the effects in his own parents’ marriage, I just don’t see it.

SunshineCake · 27/11/2019 13:04

@Wildorchidz - of course I don't know who the OP is but I was making the point if I did and there were things going on would she like it.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 27/11/2019 13:24

No French publication was reporting it as fact; they were just reporting the rumours back in the spring / summer.

Don’t know why the rumours have suddenly resurfaced...
