Didn't know where to put this.

Yep hopefully all the crazy ridiculous theories and nastiness may stop now, I'm sick of the unpleasant things that are spouted from those that profess to be someone's cousin's wifes neighbour's auntie who is in the know.

I love it when posters claim to have inside knowledge and it's then proved to be utter bollocks. When Cheryl Cole was pregnant, someone announced she had seen her in Surrey, with her boyfriend of the time, both holding and cooing over a newborn baby girl. Her son was born about a week later.

Lovely news! Can't wait to see him. Balonz would be a cool name for 7th in line to the throne.

I loved watching the rolling coverage earlier on BBC news - the live reporter was really struggling to elicit interesting responses from a few people walking around Windsor Grin. "So how do you think Meghan feels?" - she asked a middle aged perplexed man Grin

It looks to me like the baby was indeed born at home.
The official Buckingham palace announcement says that the relevant senior royals and family members have been informed and that the Duchess’s mother is with them at Frogmore Cottage. Thebaby was born at 5:30 this morning and the announcement was made early afternoon right? Which even for someone who’s not royalty and trying to avoid a media circus, would be a pretty quick discharge from the hospital wouldn’t it?
If that is the case, I’m glad she got the birth she wanted Smile

@StillCoughingAndLaughing

I’m glad they’ve had a healthy baby delivered safely. What I’m even gladder (is that a word?) about is all the conspiracy theories can stop now.

Nope. The word is definitely gladderer. Grin

Seriously, like many others on here, I am pleased she has had it today, and all the nasty shitty speculation can stop now.

(Is this all in vain though? I am sure some people will find a reason to slag her off about SOMETHING! ) Wink

What is this obsession with the name BALONZ by the way? Confused Is that even an actual name?! Never heard it before!

It was a troll thread. Someone posted ‘Should I call my son Adam, Oliver or Balonz?’

I can't stand the royal family or what they stand for but I think Harry's love for his wife is genuine and he looked so happy and emotional - and that was lovely.

I much prefer him to his pompous prig of a brother.

The BBC said he was born at Frogmore Cottage (and then that "it is thought" he was born there). If it had been in hospital someone would have seen them leave to go there.

Harry's speech was lovely.
He did look so happy.
I'm no royalist myself but it was nice to see someone just beaming! Cheered me up on a boring bank holiday Monday.

Wondering about the names - Nelson, Albert, Charles, Tom (Thomas)
Would be nice if M and G could invite Thomas to see the baby as well. Sure they can smuggle him without any secret video or hearing devices Grin

I said Leo earlier, but now thinking maybe Felix or something a bit more off-piste in terms of royalty, or maybe a classic like Alexander or Jonathan but with something funkier in the middle as a "known as". This child is never going to be on the throne.

Lovely to see Harry looking so happy.

I think Earl of Dumbarton will be called Dave (David Charles Phillip on the birth certificate)

I think they will go with a classic Royal name. Meghan in particular will be very wary of coming across as not respectful of tradition.

Thank you @StillCoughingAndLaughing. Smile

I wondered why people kept mentioning that name (Balonz!) ? Grin

I thought it was so lovely for Harry to say that he has great respect for women for doing this (carrying a baby, and giving birth,) and they are amazing for doing it! Smile

He was so excited when he was interviewed earlier, and said they will show everyone the baby on Wednesday.

He's a lovely man, and I hope he and Meghan, and their son, will be very happy. Grin
