"Ooh twinges....could this be it?"

I wish. Think I must be a closet royalist as I am rathrr excited about this impending birth. Anyone want to keep watch with me?

yeh, Princess Anne is a disappointment, I could see that. I laughed so much when I read that a child gave her a bunch of flowers and then she turned round to give them to a bodyguard or lady in waiting and there wasn't one so she had to carry the flowers herself and did a loud sigh in earshot of the young girl who'd just given her the flowers. I'd say 'oy, i'll have those back please"

Zynda · 16/07/2013 16:19

chubfuddler I had my dc1 the day before my due date! opened my diary and I wrote in 'have baby'. I saw what I'd written in my diary nine months earlier and laughed at my own naivety, but yet, I "had baby" by the due date.

WildThongsHeartString · 16/07/2013 21:54

Still nothing? Come on Kate!

ZingWidge · 16/07/2013 22:07

hypnobirthing? hypnotised not to feel the pain!?

good luck with that.

Snazzyenjoyingsummer · 17/07/2013 00:26

I assume if she ends up yelling for an epidural, she won't be fobbed off with tales of how everyone is busy and she'll have to wait either. She needs to channel Miranda Richardson doing 'Who's Queen?' Grin

Gunznroses · 17/07/2013 00:40

I do have a feeling she'll have a c-section.

I wonder if they'll let her go two weeks over due like they did me. :/

Hoping she has a happy birth whatever way it happens :)

Gunznroses · 17/07/2013 02:08

Did you see the 'waiting for baby cambridge' photo story on the BBC news pages? All those photographers waiting to pounce when they appear on the steps with the baby. I just wanted to get home and back into pj's, imagine the worlds press and their flashbulbs snapping away for a few minutes Shock.

Actually, they'll have to do the car seat with everyone watching won't they. In the old days the royals just drove off holding the baby in their arms but I can't imagine them being able to get away with it now, it's illegal anyway. Let's hope royal security have been reading those maxi cosi instructions.

PetiteRaleuse · 17/07/2013 07:44

:o at thought of Wills and Kate having a public argument about the car seat 'I just squeezed a future monarch out of my uterus and you couldn't put in the fucking car seat?'

Chubfuddler · 17/07/2013 07:47

I bet they won't be scrabbling down the back of the sofa for change for the car park either.

heronsfly · 17/07/2013 07:50

I've only just read the whole thread and am sitting here giggling at mortifieds idea of a 'Royal Bonk' to get things going Grin

ZingWidge · 17/07/2013 08:04

or a Royal BJ Grin

Wishfulmakeupping · 17/07/2013 08:12

Oh dear hope they do have a name chosen and ready to go I cannot wait 2 weeks
I need to know dammit!

ZingWidge · 17/07/2013 09:35

never mind a baby, I can't wait to see what Harry will do to celebrate that he will propably never have to take on the responsibility of being King?

although I'd love him to be King.
he'd be StreaKing!Grin

Zynding · 17/07/2013 11:23

some people go 14 days over their dd don't they? so it's possible that baby won't materialise til the 27th of July! ten days is max in some countries, even that would mean we could be waiting til 23rd. I have a feeling, a very strong feeling that it will be born at 2am on the 19th.

ZingWidge · 17/07/2013 11:34

yep, DS2 was 14 days over

aldo eldest niece was 16 days over.

I don't wish the misery of being overdue on anyone [experienced], but I secretly hope it's the 27th - DS1's birthday!
