"Ooh twinges....could this be it?"

I wish. Think I must be a closet royalist as I am rathrr excited about this impending birth. Anyone want to keep watch with me?

OP posts:
Snazzyenjoyingsummer · 12/07/2013 22:07

I think the due date is any day now. I have seen 12, 13 and 14 July mentioned. So if they've used that tactic BigW then she is overdue now.

Derbylicious · 12/07/2013 22:16

Ooops yes good luck to all mums-to-be all around the country supported by over stretched NHS midwives working around the clock, espec to those who get turned away because the maternity wards are full.

Is Kate having an NHS birth?
Back to Harry and cigars...

BigW · 12/07/2013 22:19

Hmmm, by my calculations the baby was born two weeks ago.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 12/07/2013 22:20

Oooh ihate what does your DH do?

WildThongsHeartString · 12/07/2013 22:27

[ignores derby]

Curtsies gracefully to the red dame!

I think it's going to be in the next week or so, I remember Diana bringing William home, she was so happy.
By coincidence my DS is 15 tomorrow, where does the time go, honestly seems like yesterday.

TheHandbagOfGlory · 12/07/2013 22:53

I know Wild my DS is 6 today (I actually had him at 23.01!) and I can still remember feeling the weight of him for the first time

Derbylicious · 12/07/2013 22:53

I think Pippa is editing this site. Wondered what her day job was!

Back to Netmums for me, it is a great site.

I'll leave you pondering these big issues!!

DameDeepRedBetty · 12/07/2013 22:54

I've been on EllieArroway's thread a lot tonight as well. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.

DameDeepRedBetty · 12/07/2013 22:56

Derby what planet do you come from? Not sure I want to visit it so do let me know.

BigW · 12/07/2013 23:04

I can confirm, with absolute certainty, that she will be born on Sunday.

That's right, SHE!

Derbylicious · 12/07/2013 23:12

Odd response. She is very lucky in her position, I was turned away when in labour as the hosp was full.. Let us not forget real issues facing many mums to be. Pity this thread is so one sided. You don't do women any favours.

Chubfuddler · 12/07/2013 23:13

One sided as opposed to what? What is the "other" side?

VisualiseAHorse · 12/07/2013 23:14

My OH will be SO ANNOYED if the royal babe arrives tomorrow. It's his birthday, and he is a complete non-royalist (anti-royalist?)

She will weight 6.4lb, have no hair and be bron about 4.05pm on Sunday.

Derbylicious · 12/07/2013 23:15

Reality.

VisualiseAHorse · 12/07/2013 23:16

BORN not bron.

Stupid tiredness.

TheHandbagOfGlory · 12/07/2013 23:16

But this is a light hearted thread, there are other threads to be found on here where your comments and debate will be welcomed Smile

This one is for fun and idle speculation.

BeaWheesht · 12/07/2013 23:17

It is reality that K is pregnant, no?

Chubfuddler · 12/07/2013 23:18

Reality? Well I'm afraid whatever is going on in Kensington palace is reality for the duchess of Cambridge, and she will be every bit as frightened and excited as any other first time mother - quite possibly more so considering the weight of expectation upon her. Unless you think being married into royalty is some kind of superpower which insulates you from fear, illness and disaster?

Poor girl. I wouldn't be her for a kings ransom.

Derbylicious · 12/07/2013 23:21

Oh ok, I'll let you get on with it then.

DameDeepRedBetty · 12/07/2013 23:21

Aah, nothing like a bit of idle speculation...

Will the Royal OB be shouting 'Push Madam, PUSH?'

As (I am told) the RAC man said to my DM when she broke down on her way to an appointment at The Royal Free when rather obviously expecting me back in 1964?

imademarion · 12/07/2013 23:27

When I gave birth, I was arrayed fetchingly on a pile of ermine, with the Dragoon Guards playing 'I vow to theey country' very softly.

Someone, I think it was Princess Anne, fed me tiny silver spoonfuls of His Graceful Duchyness' Iced Lemon Posset.

Harry was in charge of the drugs.

My baby slithered out after a couple of delicate coughs.

It was very beautiful and I have the highlights in an Asprey album.

TheHandbagOfGlory · 12/07/2013 23:27

Will they have to call her Your Royal Highness and ma'am even when she's pushing?

Chubfuddler · 12/07/2013 23:28

I really doubt it.

DameDeepRedBetty · 12/07/2013 23:35

Iced lemon posset.... mmmm

Personally, I got a round of hot buttered toast about half an hour after the Big Oosh. Which I promptly honked straight back up again. And the second one too that the darling MWs lord bless them and keep them brought. Thank god for the nuts and raisins that my DM had stuffed into my Middle Of The Night Emergency Bag, they were a minor miracle at 3 a.m.

Sorry, not sounding frightfully posh for a Lady of the Bedchamber am I?

ZingWidge · 12/07/2013 23:37

we got married on the 29th of April ( a while ago)

they got married on the 29th of April

one of our children was born on the 13th July, another on the 27th July

I would love it if Royal Baby was born on either days!Smile
