"Ooh twinges....could this be it?"

I wish. Think I must be a closet royalist as I am rathrr excited about this impending birth. Anyone want to keep watch with me?

I don't remember if they said how many weeks she was. They don't usually divulge details like that.

Ponders · 18/07/2013 22:18

I don't believe they did

but that's usually approx when morning sickness starts so that was the general assumption.

I think...

OhBuggerandArse · 18/07/2013 22:21

HAs anyone posted this yet?

I think it is strangely magnetic a totally unwarranted intrusion, but when I was watching it it was being v helpfully hijacked by a spokeswoman from the No More Page Three campaign giving an enormously long speech.

Anyone else in London fancy a free platform for their views? Get down there and get talking!

Snazzyenjoyingsummer · 18/07/2013 22:36

I would also bet on the helicopter. How long in a helicopter from Berkshire to the Lindo?

Don't think they ever said how many weeks she was either, but it was less than 12 because there was lots of comment about how it was earlier than they would have announced it by choice. Then the inference was made about the timing because of the extreme morning sickness.

Zynding · 18/07/2013 23:19

Anybody hear the chopper? who lives near her parents then?!

Zynding · 18/07/2013 23:20

The Queen's comment the other day would indicate that she has at least reached her due date. I think it will be early tomorrow morning, at 5am. In fact, I think she's in early labour now. I can feeeeeeeel it.

Januarymadness · 18/07/2013 23:24

I saw 2 chinooks in the air earlier and thought "thats it Wills is on his way to the Mrs"

ZingWidge · 18/07/2013 23:27

ohBugger - thanks for that!

I want to go up there and walk past wearing a big hat and pushing a buggy and cooing loudly " oh, you are my lovely little princess, yes you are!" Grin Grin

marriedinwhiteagain · 18/07/2013 23:39

I reckon she's at Balmoral or Windsor and the Bucklerbury and Lindo Wing business is a load of old nonsense. Bet she'll have it quietly and there'll be an announcement posted on the gates and the Royals will for once go "hahaha - gotcha". Hope so.

I hoped it would be born a few days ago and named after me (rl name wouldn't be unreasonable); DH now thinks it will be born in week or so and be called after him. ROFL.

Snazzyenjoyingsummer · 19/07/2013 00:09

Has there been any report of her coming back from her parents' house to London? It was said she'd gone there for the weekend, but it may be that she's still there or she's returned to London quietly. I assume she is working her way through box sets, Ben and Jerry's and is not going out again until it's time to get in the ambulance/helicopter Smile

If the 12/13 July due dates guess were at all accurate, she is a week overdue now. When do hospitals like to induce, 10 days? (hasn't happened to me)

marriedinwhiteagain · 19/07/2013 00:44

Might not even be due yet - due date could be tomorrow or over the weekend. Who knows.

Meglet · 19/07/2013 06:46

It's actually quite refreshing to realise that they can keep some things private despite the whole world speculating. No one is even sure where Kate is, let alone her due date. Nothing seems to have sneaked onto twitter.

I don't reckon she's at her parents. You'd go mental cooped up inside a normal house for this long, especially heavily pregnant and in this heat. My money is back in London, kensington palace must have a big private garden to get out in.

SoupDragon · 19/07/2013 06:53

I feel really sorry for her! She must be totally pissed off in this heat!

SoupDragon · 19/07/2013 06:53

(I feel for anyone heavily pregnant TBH)

katydid02 · 19/07/2013 06:53

Good point Meglet. I do hope she gets more privacy than you'd expect.

MortifiedAdams · 19/07/2013 06:54

She also has not been photographed for a good few weeks/ a month, so clearly can keep.out of prying eyes

OP posts:
Hulababy · 19/07/2013 06:54

Soupdragon - my sister is finding this heat a killer. She's so glad she kept on her gym membership as spends days there with the air con or in the pol, failing that laying on her bed by an open window and with a fan!

waikikamookau · 19/07/2013 06:55

hasn't her mother said the baby would be a Leo,
so at least 21st july,

SoupDragon · 19/07/2013 07:03

I don't blame your sister, Hula!

I managed to have all three of mine so I was heavily pregnant in winter - built in central heating!

KittenofDoom · 19/07/2013 12:30

Meglet "cooped up inside a normal house"?

You speak as if her parents' house is a three-bedroom terraced house in town. West Berks is overflowing with houses with big private gardens!

Ponders · 19/07/2013 13:05

They had a big house before

But they recently moved up to a sodding great mansion...I think she'll have enough space Grin

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 19/07/2013 13:06

I reckon she is planning on having the baby at her parents. Peace and quiet, she is obviously very fit and healthy so no reason not to. Drs and midwives can be there much more easily than she can get into London.

Meglet · 19/07/2013 13:48

kitten well, yes. It's not a cramped terrace. But the garden probably isn't huge, or very safe from the paps. The royal residences in london have got better open space I think.

AGnu · 19/07/2013 14:04

How many of her potential hiding places have air con? I'd be where the air con was if I was heavily pregnant at the moment!

eatyourveg · 19/07/2013 14:20

Seeing as she is pushing out the heir to the throne, they are hardly likely to let her do it anywhere other than somewhere that has all the latest high tech on hand should any intervention be needed. It will be St M's and she'll go in in the dead of night before labour has even started.

Still think its induction today
