@MNHQ - suggestion that night watch ought to be able to suspend accounts or you have an escalation process in place that Mods who can suspend/wield the ban hammer can be called to do so in situations such as these.

Also this is of course a bot, and not a real person (probably) so it can carry on alllll night (sigh)

Of course it's a bot...which is why you're trigger finger is going to get very sore.

It's not a sustainable approach from MNHQ.

I'm not suggesting 24hr moderation but there has to be a middle ground here which involves suspending accounts such as this, or having access to on call escalation to do so.

I am 8 times zones from the UK (behind) and have watched this unfold. I am seeing it appear still, one just seconds ago. I can ignore but honestly it is definitely not what you want to see on sensitive topics. I have seen at least one poster get this garbage as the first reply to her post crying out for help.

I am hoping it is now late enough in the early morning in the UK that someone can stop this and ban the user. Please. It is starting to do damage.
