It’s going to be 30 here tomorrow afternoon.

I would much prefer those temperatures to the heatwave we are having in the Midlands, due to get to 30°C on Monday, I am not looking forward to that!
I will be keeping various water containers in my garden, topped up, for wildlife and the neighbourhood felines. Thankfully the garden is shady so they can flop down there if they visit.

London tends to get the hot weather first and worst, I hope you can keep you and Kitty cool!

Here in Cardiff it's meant to be 27 degrees tomorrow. I'lk be keeping the curtains closed and the ceilings fans on for the furry beasts, most of whom will still probably sit on the windowsills and slowly cook. Lex was so hot earlier that he had his tongue hanging out. I moved him but he went right back to the window.

We’re east facing so it shouldn’t be too bad & she’s got plenty of shady spots on the balcony. I hope you can all keep cool too, @Pudmyboy.

I am going to keep my curtains closed, and windows open on the cooler side (I get the sun on the back in the morning and the front in the afternoon).
One of the benefits of living in an old house is that there are cold spots which are bliss in the summer heat.
Actually, I would love to sleep in the garden, but I am too nervous of the local foxes scent-marking me in the night, let alone all the spiders wiping their willies on me!

I'd got some annual leave booked for the first half of next week to do some stuff in the house and garden. I was initially pleased that it was going to be sunny. Now they're predicting 31 degrees on Monday. I do not like very warm weather and do not want to do gardening in it. At least my freezing cold house is still cooler than most in this weather. it's not meant to be this warm in May! The cats are enjoying it though.

Where I live is a renowned hot spot, to such a degree that they no longer comment on the weather here on the BBC. I reckon 30-31 yesterday, likely to be hotter today & Monday. Flat out cats most of the day, Girlcat doesn't even want to go into the conservatory during the day which is normally her "thing" in warmer weather - too hot for her. I'm just about coping in extra thin leggings & very thin long t-shirt, but may have to lose the leggings by the afternoon.

Weather report says 21 already before 9am, and though it says max 29, I can see it beating that. Broon can I swap with you please?

I'm feeling sorry for the long haired cats, they must be a bit warm. With the exception of Linny of course, who must still be glad of his in 12 degrees. Maybe I should consider moving to Scotland. Not sure I could cope with Scottish winters though.
