I have to say that she looks rather accusatory in that picture.

Her expression is very reminiscent of Sybil when she is waiting to lick the cereal bowl.

Having noted the 'kittens' 8th birthday at the start of Feb - Basil and Sybil are 15 today. Bloody hell time flies 😲.

Penblwydd hapus to Basil and Sybil.

I'm back in Cardiff now after a lovely weekend away. I saw NMA (not my alpacas) on the last day in a field next to the cider farm I was visiting. I didn't have my glasses on so they were just pale blobs though.

I have bought the cats some pouches and new treats to apologise for abandoning them. They are particularly impressed by the Home Bargains own brand catnip "pillows" (essentially Dreamies but cheaper) so I think I am forgiven.

Kitty got Basil & Sybil a box, but when she tried it for size she decided it would fit her best.

I’d have liked to get a photo of her when ste was on her back & all floof & paws, but I was too busy rubbing her belly.

Many thanks everyone for the birthday wishes for Basil and Sybil. I would agree that they definitely don't look (or behave) like pensioner cats. They don't catch mice anymore (they seem to leave that to Karl and Lenny now) but that apart they still behave like big kids. 🤣
