I went for an early morning walk in Richmond Park yesterday with my friend & her dog. It was sunny, quiet & we saw the local deer & some geese taking a bunch of goslings across the path and into a pond for a swim. Perfect.

It was really good.

I love Richmond, but we didn't have time to get that far.
We went round Chelsea then got on the tube to the Southbank. We had planned to walk but the rain got worse!

It was fairly rainy, and windy, but the small miserable rain if you know what I mean, rather than big drops and a heavy downpour. Is it called mizzle?

The fire people had a fire going in the middle of the two walks which kept ablaze nicely. I am the fat one in black who looks like they're walking through the fire!

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne if you ever get the chance, you should do it. It was quite...empowering? Not sure if that's the right word, but I felt very pleased that I did it with no hesitation.

I refused to give Cat One his food à la personal dinner service. So he whacked me on the head until I gave in. I don’t know why I thought I would win that battle.
I put my Special makeup remover pads to dry outside thinking Cat Four was inside. She only ever takes one.

It’s polite of Cat Four to only ever take one. The parent of one of my ex-fosters noticed that she never seemed to have a packet of tissues, & then found his stash under a bush at the bottom of the garden. He was not impressed.

I don’t usually share my crochet projects on here but I’m pleased with this one so far. It’s going to be a sofa throw for a relative, and then I’m going to use the same pattern & different colours to make a smaller one for home.

I always forget to attach the photos!

I’m going to make most of it plain stripes & them have another line of cats at the top, because getting them right takes forever.

@CatsonPollock much less painful than walking on Lego! 😁 You can feel the heat and I'm sure if you were slow or stopped, then it would burn, but you're told yo walk briskly so the heat registers but you're at the end before it has time to affect you.

There is something going on outside that looks more dangerous than firewalking 🤣

Curiously, having come back inside after his (very calm) stand off with Ollie, Karl seems to have grown a hat.

I'd rather walk through the Towering Inferno than stand on even one piece of Lego.

I am glad Karl bypassed any kerfuffle, Grumpy. I got nervous just looking those photos. The new Thug Cat does not have the same unpredictable, er, charm that Gizmo had in those situations.
Cat One decided I was paying too much attention to my dizzy exercises and it was time for the paper to return to its proper purpose - a bed.

Cat 1 is very pretty with those white pawsies. Sorry about the horrid posters, learie - there is a cohort of them who I describe as recreationally vile.

But he'd be (he'd have been) good with the plants.
